Default IP Address : 192.168.1.20


Subnet Mask
: 255.255.255.0

IP Address : 192.168.1.10
Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0

4. RADIO CONFIGURATION LOGIN (CONT)


Open Internet Explorer and enter the default IP address of radio 192.168.1.20

Enter the default User name super and Password LOOP


and Press OK

5. IP CONFIGURATION
Click on IP Configuration Menu

After changing the IP Address click on Update icon which is highlighted in above snapshot
Reboot the Radio by clicking REBOOT icon.

6. RADIO SETTING
Click on IP Configuration Menu

Select Date Rate as Best


Transmit Power 19dBm
Click on Update & REBOOT

7. ACCESS POINT CONFIGURATION (BTS)


7.1 Operation Mode
Click on Operation Mode Menu

Select Operation Mode as Access Point

Select Radio Frequency

Select the Approximate link distance

Click on Update & REBOOT icon.

7.2 MAC Address Control


Click on MAC Addr Control Menu

Enable MAC Addr Control


Enter the MAC Address of the Client Radio and Click
Click on Update and REBOOT

7.3 VLAN Setting


Click on VLAN Setting Menu

Enable VLAN Mode.


Enable Management VLAN and Enter Management VLAN ID: 511
Enable User VLAN and Enter User VLAN ID: Provided by TTSL and deselect Remove User Vlan Id
Enable Direct Access Mac and Enter the Laptop MAC Address
Click on Update & REBOOT icon.

8. CLIENT CONFIGURATION (CUSTOMER END)


8.1 Operation Mode
Click on Operation Mode Menu

Select Operation Mode as Client

Select Radio Frequency

Select the approximate link distance

Click on Update & REBOOT icon.

8.2 Remote AP List


Click on Remote AP List Menu

Enter MAC Address of the Access Point (BTS End Radio)


Enter the Priority : 1
Click on

8.3 VLAN Setting


Click on VLAN Setting Menu

Enable VLAN Mode.


Enable Management VLAN and Enter Management VLAN ID: 511
Enable User VLAN and Enter User VLAN ID: Provided by TTSL and
Enable Direct Access Mac and Enter the Laptop MAC Address
Click on Update & REBOOT icon.

check Remove User Vlan Id

9. SNMP CONFIGURATION
Click on SNMP Configuration Menu

Enable SNMP by Checking

Trap Receiver IP Address > NMS Server IP Address


Click Update and REBOOT.

10. ASSOCIATION STATUS


Click on Association Status Menu

Status of the RF Link can be verified here

Status BLANK (or) NO VALUE indicates No Radio Connected

MAC Address Column indicates the Remote Radios MAC Address

Signal Strength Indicates the RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication) value

Tx Rate indicates the connected Data Rate with the Remote Radio

11. SITE SURVEY


Click on Site Survey Menu

Click on Refresh Button, Radio starts scanning process and list the existing RF links

This feature helps to find the Radios Operating within the range, it provides the SSID, MAC
Address, RF Channel No and the RF Protocol Mode

12. SW RESET UTILITY


Step 1: Copy the swResetUtil.exe to C D rive (C:\)
Step 2: Open command line tool (start -> Run -> type cmd -> click OK)

Step 3: Type cd\ to change the current working directory to C:\


Step 4: Type swResetUtil.exe m 00:11:22:33:44:55 (Radio MAC Address)
Step 5: Wait for the message appears as below

Step 6: After getting the Message INFO: AP is DOWN, Switch OFF and Switch ON the Radio
Step 7: Wait for the message INFO: Operation successful. AP is now restarting

Step 8:

Now Login Radio using default IP address 192.168.1.20 and configure.
