The Welsh Centre for Burns and Plastic Surgery is one of Europe's
biggest Burns and Plastic Surgery Units with an active Clinical and
Research Program. There are currently 15 Consultant plastic surgeons
covering all sub-specialties except craniofacial.

The unit consists of 40 inpatient plastic surgery beds, 4 bedded ap
monitoring unit, 10 burns inpatient bed and 8 bedded burns ICU.

The Welsh Centre for Burns and Plastic Surgery encompasses the Adult
Burns Centre for the South West UK burns network, serving a population
of 10 million.

There is signicant ongoing investment in the clinical facilities, with
the hospital currently in the second phase of a 102m redevelopment
programme to provide state of the art facilities.
