There are currently 15 Consultant plastic surgeons covering all sub-specialties except craniofacial.
The unit consists of 40 inpatient plastic surgery beds, 4 bedded ap monitoring unit, 10 burns inpatient bed and 8 bedded burns ICU.
The Welsh Centre for Burns and Plastic Surgery encompasses the Adult Burns Centre for the South West UK burns network, serving a population of 10 million.
There is signicant ongoing investment in the clinical facilities, with the hospital currently in the second phase of a 102m redevelopment programme to provide state of the art facilities.
