Hi and welcome to the third H&A edition of the Fantasy Freakos rave for 2012. It was a costly round for us last week, with injuries to key players having
a major impact on final scores. With popular picks Nathan Fyfe, Matthew Leuenberger and Courtenay Dempsey all going down early, we really were up
against. The carnage doesnt stop there though, with Brian Lake, Adam Goodes and Jack Grimes all missing this week with one match bans. Our bench
cover will certainly be stretched this round.
This weeks edition sees the return of breakeven scores, but do take note that they are only estimates. We also see the introduction of the Next 5 where I
will outline the next five opponents for each side. This can be best used as a reference tool when researching your trade targets.

PESTY TAGGERS
The names Cameron Ling, Brett Kirk and Kane Cornes are not only
household names to Dream Teamers for the premierships they have
won, but for the defensive roles they performed throughout their careers.
Taggers have been our nemesis for some time now, and this was no more
evident than on Friday night when Andrew Carrazzo gave Scott Pendlebury
a hiding. Pendles was held to 15 disposals for the match, which was his
equal 10th lowest tally on record. He could only manage two disposals in
the first term and from that point on the writing was on the wall. His tally of
62 DT points was also a poor return, and his 10th worst score in his 117
H&A matches since debuting in 2006.
Scott Thompson was another player that had his colours lowered on the
weekend, finishing with only 19 disposals and 59 points his equal thirdlowest return since 2008. It was Brad Sewell that did the job there, keeping
him to 10 disposals from the 45 minutes they were matched up on one
another.
Although not all taggers will perform roles with the same success each
week, its handy to know who they are leading into every round. Below I
have identified the leading tagger(s) at the respective clubs, so keep this as
a guide when selecting you captains and or planning your trades.
COULD SCOTT BE AS GOOD AS JOEL?

The emergence of Scott Selwood as a serious Dream Teamer has caught
plenty by surprise. After starting his career off as a tagger in defence, he
made the smooth transition into the midfield last season where he also
performed a defensive role most weeks. He showed glimpses of his ballwinning abilities along the way, averaging 20 disposals, nine tackles and 97
DT points in the final four rounds, which included finishing the H&A season
off with a season-high 114 points.

His start to this year has been astounding, outshining his brother Joel in
the first three rounds, ranking third in the league for points scored behind
Matthew Boyd and Gary Ablett, posting scores of 98, 131 and 150 points.
Admittedly his last knock was against the Giants, but it was a massive
score nonetheless. Selwood ranks in the top-10 in the AFL for disposals,
handballs, marks and uncontested possessions. His tackling, which was
his greatest strength last season, has dropped by 50% this season, but this
hasnt affected his scoring.
