PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS
My research interest involves limnology and ecology of aquatic ecosystems. I am
interesting in both empirical as well as numerical methods to understand processes. My goal
is to improve understanding of the quantitative influences of environmental changes on
ecohydrologic processes as well as the cause of eutrophication. I am especially interested in
the whole process of hydrologic cycle and pollutant transport between land, surface water
and groundwater. My other research interests are nutrient cycling, wastewater treatment
systems, and lake management. My ongoing research focuses on the development of
integrated watershed model linking hydrodynamic, water quality, and ecology.
