Major economic advantages are provided by the
manufacturing method using the
Blue Max 8/19 drilling
and insertion machine
The rear boring head line of the Blue Max opens up
to the manufacturer the possibility of using all the
advantages of System 32. As a result, savings in time
and costs can be made on the one hand, and on the
other hand, the variable design and construction
possibilities of System 32 are used to the greatest
possible extent.
Almost all fittings, such as the handle range
PRODECOR, SYSTEMA TOP 2000, rear wall connectors,
plinth height adjusters, connecting fittings, hinge
mounting plates, drawer runners, flap supports,
wardrobe tube bearings, magnetic catches, shelf
supports, cabinet suspension brackets and locks can,
with consistent observance of System 32, be inserted
in the hole lines drilled with the Blue Max.

Multi Blue
drilling jigs are also designed for System 32.

The axial distance between the hole line and the front edge is 37 mm (seals, bumpers, etc. are part of the
front edge; they are included in the 37 mm measurement and should be taken into account when cutting
to size and drilling).
Distance between vertical hole lines should be divisible by 32.
It is beneficial for the distance of the first and last drilling hole of a hole line to the side upper and lower
edge to be equal.
It is also beneficial if the distance of the side back edge to the rear hole line
is also 37 mm.
System 32 combines the hole line with
the fittings and assembles these into a constructive unit.

Examples of construction
When processing panels, ensure that:
The position of the dowel drilling in the edge of
the top and bottom panels, corresponds with the
data given in the catalogue!
Example VB 20: distance = 9,5 mm

A = distance from upper edge of door to
centre of hinge cup
B = distance from upper edge of side to centre of dowel
F = door overhang or door reveal
X = multiple of 32 mm
Formula for calculation of hinge distance:
A = B + X - 16
9,5 + 96 - 16 = 89,5 mm
A desired door reveal F is to be subtracted.
A desired door overhang F is to be added.

B = hole distance from side upper or
lower edge to centre of dowel
E.g., for 19 mm shelf thickness :
B = 9,5 mm
Calculation of carcase side:
Height = X + 2 x B
Width = Y + 2 x 37 mm
Example:
Desired height approx. 2000 mm
Desired depth approx. 600 mm
The connecting fitting VB 20
is used with 19 mm shelves.
For dimension X, 1984 is selected
from the table.
Unit height is therefore
1984 + 2 x 9,5 = 2003 mm.
For dimension Y (600 - 2 x 37), 512 mm
is selected from the pattern table.
Unit depth is therefore
512 + 2 x 37 = 586 mm.
Advantage to the cabinet maker:
There is no longer any need to
differentiate between a left and right
unit side, since the upper and lower
hole positions are identical.
