The Numbers of the Words
by Craig Wm. Peters

Psalm 82 and the Day of hwhy

a The Hebrew phrase, “the Day of hwhy” (hwhy-Mwy), refers to the Day of His vengeance
upon all that is high and lifted up.1 The Day of hwhy is the period of time in which all
strongholds and every lofty thing lifted up against the knowledge of Elohim2 will be
completely destroyed. We speak here of Heavenly Judgment, and not the bombing of
abortion clinics by carnal, radical fanatics. If American legislators continue to refuse to
end the scourge of abortion, the Heavenly Judgments of hwhy will soon close every door
to every abortion clinic forever! We speak here of massive earthquakes, volcanoes, and
tidal waves; we speak of fire and brimstone from heaven, the scorching heat of the Sun,
and of the most fearsome Fire of all: that which will come forth from hwhy Himself.3
And this Heavenly Judgment will most assuredly include every nation which has set itself
to oppose the Kingdom of hwhy and His Messiah4 by casting aside His Torah5 (the Law
of His Kingdom) and by persecuting/slaying His chosen people.6 In response to this
rebellion, hwhy promises to eventually destroy every kingdom which refuses to submit to
His Reign:
Behold, the eyes of the Sovereign hwhy are upon the sinful kingdom,
and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth: only that I
will not utterly destroy the House of Ya’acob, says hwhy.
Amos 9:8
The great outpouring of the wrath of hwhy El Shaddai will be made known in these Days
of Vengeance,7 days which are now fast approaching. And how far-reaching will they
be: this unrelenting chain of overwhelming, apocalyptic judgments? The Messiah
foretold of great convulsions in the heavens which would, in turn, have a most
devastating effect upon the Earth; as a result, even the seas will roar in a fearsome display
of destructive power:
25 And there will be signs in the sun, and moon, and stars, and on the earth
anxiety of nations, in bewilderment at the roaring of the sea, and agitation,
26 men fainting from fear and the expectation of what is coming on the earth,
for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Luke 21:25, ISRV

And how real will this fear be amongst those who do not know hwhy and call upon His
Name? Through the words of the prophet Zephaniah, we can see a clear indication of
just how overwhelming these immense cataclysms will be:
Near is the great Day of hwhy ( hwhy-Mwy ):
near and hasting exceedingly. A voice is the Day of hwhy:
Bitterly crying out there is the mighty man.
Zephaniah 1:14
Because of the indescribable nature of these coming judgments, we see even the
mightiest of men will be crying out bitterly in fear and brokenness.
In seeking to hear yet more of the Most High’s commentary on the Day of hwhy, we
proceed by studying its number value. The misparim value for the phrase, hwhy-Mwy, “the
Day of hwhy,” is eighty-two:
← ← ←
82 = (5) h + (6) w + (5) h + (10) y + (40) M + (6) w + (10) y = hwhy-Mwy = the Day of hwhy
To our amazement, Tehillah 82 reveals a number of highlights regarding the Day of
hwhy:
Scripture reveals what will occur in this Day of Wrath;
and we are also told why these things must come to pass.
And through it all, we will see the Torah-observant testimony of eswhy the Messiah
continuing to reveal the prophetic mind of the Spirit.8 This is so because the Law of hwhy
reveals that which is, and that which was, and that which is yet to come.9
We continue our study by reading the 82nd Psalm.
Tehillah 82
A Psalm of Asaph
1 Elohim stands in the assembly of El; He judges among the elohim.
2 How long will you judge perversely, and accept the persons of the wicked?

3 Judge the poor and the fatherless, do justice to the afflicted and the destitute.
4 Rescue the poor and needy: deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.
5 They know not, neither do they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the
foundations of the earth are shaken.
6 I have said, “You are elohim; and all of you are sons of the Most High.
7 But you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.”
8 Arise, Elohim, judge the earth: for You shall inherit all the nations.

Shaddai will pour out in the Day of hwhy. It is no coincidence that Psalm 82 was
positioned to be the eighty-second and that its subject matter speaks of the Day of hwhy, a
period of time to be filled with many overwhelming and burning judgments – judgments
in which hwhy will, once more, awaken the inhabitants of the earth to righteousness10 by
punishing all disobedience to His immutable, age-abiding Torah – the Word which He
has commanded to a thousand generations.11
♦ Psalm 82:1 ♦
1 Elohim stands in the assembly of El; He judges among the elohim.
The Sons of Elohim Convene Before hwhy in the Heavens
As G.H. Lang and G.H. Pember have so aptly set forth, the Hebrew phrase “sons of
Elohim” refers exclusively to any being created directly by the Most High.12 Hence, in
the Law and the Prophets, the Hebrew phrase, “sons of Elohim,” applies exclusively to
the angels/messengers.13 This also explains why eswhy the Messiah was called “the Son
of Elohim” since He was brought forth by the direct, creative working of the Almighty.14
In Psalm 82, we see these sons of Elohim convening before Him in the Heavenly Court,
just as was seen in the account of the prophet Iyob/Job:
6 Now it came to pass on the day when the sons of Elohim came to present
themselves before hwhy, that Satan also came among them. 7 And hwhy said to Satan,
From where have you come? Then Satan answered hwhy, and said, From going
to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. 8 And hwhy said
to Satan, Have you considered My servant Iyob? For there is none like him
in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that fears Elohim,
and turns away from evil. Iyob 1:6-8
The main subject of this gathering appears to have been the prophet Iyob. At yet another
such gathering – seen in a vision by the prophet Micaiah – hwhy sends forth a lying spirit
to deceive Ahab so the rebellious king will fall/die in a battle:

13
See “Earth’s Earliest Ages,” pages 40-41, 129-135, and the Appendix, “Fallen Angels Taking Human Form,” by
the editor G.H. Lang. Mr. Lang clearly refutes all arguments to the contrary, and we feel one cannot honestly
ponder the relevant Scriptures and conclude anything differently. But we must have “ears to hear:” We must
approach the topic without bias, and we must be consistent in our use of Scripture. However, readers will have to
slowly digest his words since G.H. Lang writes complicated sentences with English from a much different era than
our own.
14
Luke 1:35. Because He was directly formed by the Hand of hwhy in the womb of Miriam/Mary, eswhy was
called the Son of Elohim. This explains why He could authoritatively quote Psalm 82 (see John 10:33-36), and in
His having done so, we are given yet another proof He was/is the Messiah.

3
19 And he said, “Therefore, hear the word of hwhy:
I saw hwhy sitting on His throne, and all the host of heaven standing by Him:
on His right hand and on His left. 20 And hwhy said, Who will persuade Ahab,
that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead? And one said on this manner,
and another said on that manner. 21 And there came forth a spirit, and stood
before hwhy, and said, I will persuade him. 22 And hwhy said to him, Wherewith?
And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth
of all his prophets. And He said, You will persuade him,
and prevail also: go forth, and do so.”
1Kings 22:19-22
So it is evident that there are both good and evil beings which convene before hwhy at
Appointed Times in the heavens. At the convening mentioned in Psalm 82 (vs. 1), we
notice Elohim is rendering judgment. And as the psalm continues, it immediately
indicates the nature of the Most High’s words as He interrogates those beings which are
walking in rebellion. We now proceed to ponder the judgment which is rendered over
those angels who, in their fallen state, are continuing to walk in disobedience.
♦ Psalm 82:2-4 ♦
2 How long will you judge perversely, and accept the persons
of the wicked? [Selah] 3 Judge the poor and the fatherless, do justice
to the afflicted and the destitute; 4 rescue the poor and needy:
deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.
The Unrighteous Influence in Worldy Affairs
We see from this text the nature of the rebuke as well as the nature of the
disobedience: These spiritual beings influence world rulers to decree perverse and/or
unjust edicts. There are many results of this satanic influence over the minds of men.
One such result is that the wicked so often prosper in the political arena while those who
are poor and helpless are completely overlooked in the every day basics of life. So very
often, the poor are left unassisted as they continue to scrimp, scrape, and suffer through
this life. Further, those who should be set forth as rulers are also largely unrecognized
and bypassed in this present age. This text from Psalm 82 shows us what many believers
have long-since realized: The perversity we so often see in worldly kings/rulers is not
without an immense, but lawless, spiritual influence. Sha’ul wrote a significant statement
about these adversarial forces which cast darkness over this present world:
10 Finally, be strong in the Sovereign, and in the strength of His might.
11 Put on the whole armor of Elohim, that you may be able to stand against the
schemes of the Devil. 12 For our wrestling is not against blood and flesh, but against
the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness,
against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavens.
Ephesians 6:10-12

4
This text shows us the immense influence which the fallen angels still have over the
present world system. But this is the influence which hwhy will soon arise to completely
arrest in the Day of His anger! Evidence of the evil sway which these beings hold over
much of the world is readily seen: One needs only to ponder the power-hungry actions of
past world leaders to see abundant proof of this historical, carnal insanity – obviously
driven by demonic greed, hatred/murder, lust, and pagan revelry:
• Agag, King of the Amalekites
Scriptures indicate Agag slew many men and unjustly made many women childless; he
suffered the same demise at the hands of the prophet Samuel.15
• Hazael, King of Syria
Hazael committed merciless evils against the children of Yisrael: He set their strong
holds on fire, slew their young men with the sword, dashed their children over cliffs (or
city walls) onto the rocks, and ripped up their pregnant women.16
• Belshazzar
Nebuchadnezzar’s grandson, Belshazzar, held an irreverent feast with his wives and
concubines; and in his pagan revelry, this king abused the set apart vessels made for True
Worship in the House of hwhy, the Elohim of Yisrael. So the decree of judgment went
forth from the Throne of heaven and this king died in the very same night.17
• Herod
Driven by his lust for unending power, and attempting to slay the newborn King of
Yisrael, Herod made the murderous decree that all the males in Bethlehem and Judea
should be slain from two years old and younger.18 One simply cannot imagine the terror,
shock, and unending grief which this unwarranted carnage caused the unsuspecting
mothers/families who were victimized by such horrendous actions.
• Nero
Insane and diabolical, this Roman ruler persecuted believers with many atrocities – one
of which was burning the faithful believers at night to give light to the city.19
• The Catholic Inquisitors (i.e., A number of popes and their political minions)
It is estimated that the Catholic persecution of Protestants in the Middle Ages led to the
cruel murder of millions of men, women, and children.20 Evidence shows that the Popes
are once more pushing for some form of world dominance, at least in religious matters,
and it would be less than naïve not to take some amount warning when we hear the
present pope pushing for more stringent decrees from the “world court.”

• Named and Unnamed Leaders and Peoples of the Middle Ages
It is a sad story to read of all the injustices and atrocities committed against Christian,
Jewish, and Muslim people throughout the Middle Ages.21 Not only were many
slaughters initiated via the Crusades, but throughout Europe and Asia, much prejudice
and carnage prevailed due to the spiritual ignorance of blind Christian leaders and those
who followed their insane deceptions.22 Of all things, a great many people accused the
Jews of “killing God!” While it is true many of the Yahudim rejected their Messiah23 and
gave Him over to the Roman authorities,24 amongst all those who truly know the Savior,
the truth of the matter is quite evident:
Because the sins of the whole world were borne by the Messiah
on the Tree,25 everyone shares in the guilt over His death.26
Hence, the self-righteous, self-appointed judges who persecuted the Jews for “killing
eSwhy” share just as much blame as those they so badly mistreated. In the judgment, we
believe the outcome will be turned around: Those who persecuted and murdered the
Jews for executing the Messiah, were simply condemning themselves, and they will be
severely judged in accordance with their inexcusable and malicious actions.27 Thus, is
displayed the abject and abysmal ignorance of those who persecuted the Jews for killing
the Messiah. In many lands and in many cities, if Jews were not subjected to
mistreatment or death, they were often driven out and banished from the society.28
The lesson for modern day believers is inescapable: Many centuries in advance, hwhy
had promised Yisrael that, if they rejected His Torah, they would suffer many atrocities
and much hardship over a long duration of time.29 They first rejected His written word,30
and they would eventually reject His Living Word, the Messiah eSwhy.31 So those New
Covenant believers who presently imagine they can reject the Torah in the Name of the
Messiah should not live under the delusion that they will escape the punishment of
hwhy.32 Note: Certain popes are reported to have been of some assistance to the Jews in
the midst of their great troubles.33

• Hitler
For their disobedience to the Torah, hwhy warned Yisrael they would be scattered among
the nations and that they would be in fear for their lives day and night.34 We see the
Holocaust, as terrible as it was, to be a partial fulfillment of this warning and punishment.
Although Adolf Hitler helped to fulfill this prophecy, we can be sure the madness and
demonic insanity of this crazed leader, and the sins of all who followed him, will be
severely punished in the resurrection.
• Present-Day Muslim Radicals
Led by a number of religious and political radicals, present-day militant Muslims have
determined to take over the world. And playing right into their hands, the weak-minded
policies now being set forth by the limp leadership of the free world seem to indicate they
are rather content to let such militants do that very thing. We see the distinct possibility
that the many beheadings prophesied in Scripture35 may come to pass at the hand of these
unrelenting and satanically driven militants. Yet they will quickly answer to hwhy El
Shaddai for the murderous carnage, if they take part in propagating such widespread and
unwarranted bloodshed.36
So mankind has been subjected to many millennia of deep wretchedness and unbearable
heartache at the hands of his fellow man. It is not at all pleasant to write any of the above
accounts. Yet we emphasize our point in necessarily listing these histories: The carnal,
unrighteous, and often insane rule of many world rulers, within our physical realm, has
been obviously energized by the powerful, yet diabolical forces of evil which rule the
kingdom of darkness in the spiritual realm. But this terrible and unjust influence in
man’s sphere of existence will soon be completely arrested in the Day of hwhy as His
wrath is sent forth to punish all disobedience.
* * * * * *
Of course, in the religious world, since the beginning of time these unrighteous,
demonic influences have also drawn humans into their great vortex of lawlessness and
iniquity. Man’s religious history is also characterized by obvious demonic
influence/teachings. These deleterious, satanic forces have introduced many pagan rites
and practices into the world: From pagan astrology and horoscopes, to witchcraft and
sorcery; from human sacrifices, to temple prostitutes; many strongholds of lawlessness
have opposed the Word and ways of the Most High. Yet it is not just these openly pagan
practices which are an affront to the Kingdom of hwhy:
• Leaders who exalt themselves prosper, by coming in their own name,37 while those who
come in the Name of hwhy are most often rejected and persecuted. Yet lawlessness has
continually assaulted the truth of the Torah. This lawless attack was prophesied, and the

people of hwhy have always been warned of the spirit that would work to undermine the
unchanging moral edicts of the Torah.38
• Yisrael was early warned of the spirit of the anti-Messiah: Even a prophet who came
with signs and wonders was not to be feared if that person did anything to turn the people
from the commandments of the Torah.39
• Through the prophet Daniel, all believers have been warned the spirit of the anti-
Messiah would “think to change the times and the law.”40 This has been the case since
the earliest days of the True Faith, and this apostasy continues into our time: In a
political-religious move made in 321 C.E, the Emperor Constantine instituted the pagan
Sun-day41 and succumbed to this adversarial spirit which the Spirit had long-since
prophesied would change the set-apart calendar of the Most High.42 As a result, to this
day, the Catholic Church boasts of having dispensed with one of the Ten
Commandments!43 And they further boast that the entire Protestant world bows down in
obeisance to the Roman church by adhering to the day which they have ordained by their
power!44 So today we are faced with the grievous situation that so many who claim to
follow the Messiah yet fail to walk as He walked45 because they either completely shun
the Seventh Day Shabbat/Sabbath, or else they hold it forth as merely optional, a spiritual
nicety.46 However, we fail to fulfill the Great Commission47 if we fail to uphold the
immutability and ongoing authority of the Shabbat and the Decalogue: For the Messiah
taught His followers to pray their flight would not be on the Shabbat (so that they would
not have to violate the Fourth Commandment).48 This prayer shows us the permanence
of the Sabbath Day across the centuries of time since His death and resurrection. Thus, if
we do not teach this prayer (and the inviolability of the Shabbat) to all nations, we are
also failing to teach them everything which the Messiah has commanded us.49 Since our
Savior taught the permanence of the Shabbat across the centuries of time down to our
days, the authority of the Fourth Commandment is perpetual, and those who shun the
Seventh Day will lose their reward in the Kingdom.50

This truth51 also rebukes the gross error of the “Noahide Laws” – the common Jewish
teaching that gentiles are largely released from the majority of moral edicts in the Torah.
Nothing could be farther from the truth since those who place their faith in the Messiah
become spiritual Yahudim (praisers of hwhy)52 and since they are grafted into the Olive
Tree (of Yisrael) as full-fledged members of Yisrael’s Commonwealth!53 There is one
law to the home-born and one law to those who are engrafted:54 There are not two sets of
standards in the Kingdom of hwhy, although many deceivers would lead us to believe
otherwise. Whether Jew or Gentile, the set-apart ones are defined in Scripture as,
… “those who keep the commandments of Elohim
and the faith of eswhy.”
Revelation 14:12
Thus did eswhy say,55 “Believe in Elohim,56 believe also in Me.”57 And thus did the
apostles teach the Gentiles that they should no longer walk as the Gentiles!
17 This I say, therefore, and testify in the Master, that you should no longer
walk as the Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, 18 being darkened in
understanding, estranged from the life of Elohim by reason of the ignorance
which is in them, by reason of the hardness of their hearts.
Ephesians 4:17-18
If these Gentiles were directed by Sha’ul to no longer walk as the Gentiles, how then
were they to walk? They were directed to walk in the light of the Torah!
Your Word is a lamp unto my feet
and a light unto my path.
Psalm 119:10558
And so, Solomon wrote by the Spirit:
For the commandment is a lamp,
and the Torah is light …
Proverbs 6:23
Once more referring to the Torah, the psalmist wrote:
The opening of Your words gives light,
giving understanding to the simple.

(i.e., keep My faith/testimony! Revelation 12:17)

9
So the first Gentile converts were directed to walk as the Yahudim/Jews,59 to live in the
light of His Word: They were to walk in accordance with the Torah of hwhy. Sha’ul did
not rebuke Peter for teaching the Gentiles to walk as the Jews, for he himself did
likewise.60 However, he did correct Peter for his hypocrisy over the matter of duplicity in
his associations during fellowship.61
When the Messiah said those who keep and teach the Torah commandments would be
honored with greatness in the Kingdom of Heaven,62 the Savior knew He would be
calling those of other nations,63 and eswhy made no distinctions in that regard: His
promise of reward and greatness relates only to commandment-keeping obedience, not to
one’s national or racial heritage.64 Once more, these clear words of the Messiah show us
the Torah will be the Standard applied to all believers in the Judgment. Many in our days
will lose their crown by giving heed to man’s teachings regarding this matter,65 as there
are scores of well-meaning, but misled men who imagine the Spirit of hwhy is somehow
opposed to the commandments of the Torah. However, the Messiah and His apostles
taught just the opposite.66
Thus, did Sha’ul write:
For not the hearers of the Torah are just before Elohim,
but the doers of the Torah shall be justified.
Romans 2:13
While many try to “la-dee-da” in the Spirit, claiming fulfilling the Torah simply amounts
to just “doing good,” such a teaching quite diminishes the Word of hwhy:67 This
Scripture (Romans 2:13) is speaking of nothing less than the Torah which was given
through Mosheh and which Yisrael of old miserably failed to uphold and which they
miserably failed to take as a light to the nations.68 The New Covenant prophecies show
the Torah – which was formerly violated by Yisrael of old – would be fully upheld in the
renewed covenant as the Spirit of hwhy writes those very same laws on the hearts and

59
A fulfillment of the Zechariah 8:23 prophecy! We see this in Acts 13:42-44 when the entire city besought the
apostles to speak to them at length about the Good News of the Kingdom. This request was made on the Seventh
Day Shabbat and the Gentiles requested that Sha’ul would speak to them again on the following Sabbath Day!
Sha’ul did not gather with them 24 hours later on the pagan Sun-day! Engrafted Gentiles had to fall in line with the
Torah of the Kingdom, not the other way around!

man’s carnal opinions are being thrust on the nation from the judicial bench: So much so that we are near to the
point of being forced to quietly accept the immorality of lawless sodomites!

minds of all those who believe in His Son.69 Sha’ul would later write (still in Romans)
that those who do not have His Spirit are also not in subjection to His Torah!70 We pray
readers will not harden their hearts by turning from the serious truth of this issue: for in
the Day of hwhy, He will punish all disobedience to His Torah.
• And even in the days of ancient Yisrael, we see a king was influenced by the spirit of
lawlessness:71 Jeroboam changed the Feast of the Seventh month, the Feast of Sukkot,72
into a feast in the Eighth month.73 This was so displeasing to hwhy, that He sent a
prophet to declare the demise of all the people and all the things that pertained to this
practice.74
• Another sin in ancient Yisrael was the offering of sons and daughters in the fire to
Molech.75 While one rightly cringes at the thought of such things, the same demonic
mindset prevails in our days through the legalization/promotion of abortion. And just as
hwhy severely punished Yisrael of old for such sins, He will soon arise to punish, scatter,
and destroy this nation for such horrendous and inexcusable abominations. Once again,
such terrible atrocities can be traced back to the doctrines of demons, and hwhy will arise
in the Day of His Wrath to put down all diabolical sources of such teaching and actions.
• We must also mention the deception surrounding the Name of hwhy: From the very
start, the false names of pagan gods have ever vied to usurp the honor which may only be
attributed to the True Name of hwhy.
In emulating the Most High,76 unrighteous spirits have
inspired names for the false gods of all the nations.77
And the loyal subjects of these pagan deities give
honor to these demonically inspired names!
Yet herein lies one of the greatest spiritual ironies of all time: The people who seek to
worship the Most High have accepted the false tradition that His Name is “too holy” to be
pronounced. Yet in all of Scripture, there is simply no evidence to support this
unsubstantiated doctrine: hwhy intended that His Name was to be proclaimed throughout
all the Earth.78 And for a time, this was certainly the case!79 The record shows the
people of ancient Yisrael80 spoke His Name,81 praised His Name in songs,82 blessed

others by invoking His Name,83 called upon His Name in prayer,84 and declared His
Name to the nations. We know this because even many pagan kings and queens knew
and spoke forth the great Name of hwhy!85 How is it that pagan rulers could speak the
Name of the Most High, while many claiming to be His people in our days altogether
deny the importance of speaking, honoring, and praising the enduring Memorial Name of
hwhy? hwhy asserts His people will know His Name86 and that this all-important,
foundational aspect of True Worship87 is a determining factor in who truly serves Him
and who does not.88
A Call to Righteousness
Part of the judgment of hwhy necessitates a call to righteousness; hence, far in
advance of His judgment and wrath, hwhy warns these rebellious beings:
3 Judge the poor and the fatherless, do justice
to the afflicted and the destitute; 4 rescue the poor and needy:
deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.
Psalm 82:3-4
Even if it falls on deaf ears, hwhy will typically not bring judgment without a warning of
what His standards are and how those standards may be met. We see this, too, in
Elohim’s dealings on the human level: In view of the approaching judgment – over
which King Nebuchadnezzar had been warned in a dream89 – Daniel’s counsel to the
Babylonian ruler was this:
Therefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable to you,
and break off your sins by righteousness, and your iniquities
by showing kindness to the poor; if there may be a
lengthening of your tranquility.
Daniel 4:27
Readers will note the Scripture in Psalm 82:3-4 speaks in a similar fashion:
3 Judge the poor and the fatherless, do justice
to the afflicted and the destitute; 4 rescue the poor and needy:
deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.
And hwhy also said likewise to the rulers of Yisrael in the days of Yirmeyahu/Jeremiah:

12
1 Thus says hwhy: Go down to the house of the king of Yahudah,90 and speak there this
word, 2 and say, Hear the word of hwhy , king of Yahudah, that sits upon the throne of
David, you, and your servants, and your people that enter in by these gates: 3 Thus says
hwhy: Execute judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of
the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the
widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place … 15 Shall you reign, because you close
yourself in cedar? Did not your father91 eat and drink, and do judgment and justice, and
then it was well with him? 16 He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was
well with him: was not this to know Me? says hwhy. Jeremiah 22:1-3, 15-16
While not the only thing hwhy requires,92 judging/defending the cause of the poor and
needy was, and still remains, a significant indicator of where a person’s heart is in
relation to some of the weightier aspects of the Torah.93 After the Shema –
which eswhy called the First or Greatest Torah Commandment 94 – showing kindness to
the poor certainly leads forth in the charge towards one fulfilling what the Messiah stated
to be the Second Greatest Commandment: Loving one’s neighbor as oneself.95 For
clarification, it seems few people rightly divide the Word of truth in this matter. What
the Messiah stated to be the two, most important commandments are, in fact, an
encapsulation of the Two Tables given at Mount Sinai. The Ten Commandments show
us how we are to love hwhy with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. The Ten
Commandments are the embodiment of the Shema and they provide us with tangible
ways to love our neighbor as ourselves.
I. Since the Shema96 speaks of our love for hwhy, one fulfills this commandment by
keeping the First Table of the Ten Words, the First Five Commandments:97
a I am hwhy your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of
bondage. You shall have no other deities before Me.
b You shall not make unto you a graven image, nor any likeness of any thing that is in
heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You
shall not bow down yourself unto them, nor serve them. For I, hwhy your Elohim, am a
jealous Elohim, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, upon the third and
upon the fourth generation of those that hate Me, and showing lovingkindness unto
thousands of those that love Me and keep My commandments.
g You shall not take the Name of hwhy your Elohim in vain; for hwhy will not hold him
guiltless that takes His Name in vain.

d Remember the Sabbath Day, to keep it set apart. Six days shall you labor, and do all
your work; but the Seventh Day is a Sabbath unto hwhy your Elohim: in it you shall not
do any work, you, and your son, and your daughter; your man-servant and your maid-
servant, and your cattle, and your stranger that is within your gates. For in six days hwhy
made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the Seventh Day:
therefore, hwhy blessed the Sabbath Day, and set it apart.
h Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which
hwhy your Elohim gives you.
A proud, flagrant violation of any of these commandments is regarded as blatant
idolatry.98

II. Since the Second Greatest Commandment encompasses love for our neighbor,99 one
fulfills this commandment by keeping the Second Table of the Ten Words, the Second
Five Commandments:
w You shall not murder.
z You shall not commit adultery.
x You shall not steal.
j You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
y You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or
his man-servant, or his maid-servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your
neighbor’s.
Although these five commandments pertain to love for our neighbor,100 they are still a
reflection of our love for hwhy, because the apostle John wrote one who does not love his
brother (whom he has seen), cannot love hwhy (Whom he has not seen).101 This is why
eswhy could say the Second Greatest Commandment102 was like the First!103

♦ Psalm 82:5 ♦
5 They know not, neither do they understand; they walk on in darkness:
all the foundations of the earth are shaken.
Darkness Covers the Earth, But the Light of hwhy Will Prevail
Where sin abounds the favor of hwhy abounds all the more.104 So as the wickedness of
man increases in these Last Days,105 we also understand the power of hwhy will enable
His people to display even more of His light and splendor:
1 Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the splendor of hwhy
has risen upon you. 2 For, behold, darkness will cover the earth, and deep
darkness the peoples; but hwhy will arise upon you, and His splendor will
be seen upon you. 3 And nations will come to your light, and kings
to the brightness of your rising.
Isaiah 60:1-3
A great outpouring of the Spirit will give His faithful ones immense power to proclaim
His Word and ways. But this is a power which will bring much persecution, causing the
forces of evil to arise in an attempt to completely crush it.106 Evidently, this effort will be
largely successful, but only for a very short while:107 hwhy will not long remain quiet
after His chosen ones have been slain; He will arise in unspeakable fury to punish all
those world leaders who have ruled with injustice and all those who are responsible for
conducting such murderous hatred. This explains why the anger of hwhy will be burning
so fiercely: He will arise in unstoppable wrath to avenge the death of His chasidim/set
apart ones.108
The Light of His Judgment: When hwhy Arises to Shake Mightily the Earth
Psalm 82 warns us of how far-reaching and how cataclysmic the coming upheavals
will be:
… all the foundations of the earth are shaken.
Psalm 82:5
It is one thing for a single object in a person’s home to shake, and even so, the effects can
be significant. Suppose, for instance, a dining table is well-set and prepared for guests
when, all of the sudden, it receives a significant jolt – an impact which makes it suddenly
lunge three feet in one direction. Food would likely be cast onto the floor and glassware
might well be shattered! As bad as this might be, now imagine what would occur if the
house’s entire foundation were to begin shaking with three-foot lunges: Since everything
in the home would be subjected to the movement, the loss would be far more extensive
than what might occur in the first scenario. In this second case, the effects would be

devastating. Yet this is the kind of shaking which the world will soon experience as the
Earth is shaken at its very foundations: This is the manner of shaking which Psalm 82
foretells. Nothing will be exempt from these apocalyptic earthquakes! And this is in
complete agreement with what so many other texts already indicate regarding the Day of
hwhy: the Earth will be mightily shaken during this dreadful time of wrath and darkness.
So much so, that even the mighty man will cower in fear and weep bitterly.109
19 And men shall go into the caves of the rocks, and into the holes of the earth,
from before the terror of hwhy, and from the splendor of His majesty, when He
arises to shake mightily the earth. 20 In that day, men shall cast away their idols
of silver, and their idols of gold, which have been made for them to worship, to
the moles and to the bats; 21 to go into the caverns of the rocks, and into the
clefts of the lofty rocks, from before the terror of hwhy, and from the
splendor of His majesty, when He arises to shake mightily the earth.
Isaiah 2:19-21
But this was not the prophet’s only warning about the great Earth upheavals associated
with the Day of hwhy: Yeshayahu/Isaiah later indicates the kind of upheavals which will
occur when the foundations of the Earth are shaken, and he warns that the surface of the
ground will be violently moved:
18 And it will come to pass, that he who flees from the sound
of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that comes up out of the midst of
the pit will be taken in the snare; for the windows on high are open, and
the foundations of the earth shake.110 19 The earth is utterly broken down;
the earth is completely dissolved; the earth is violently moved. 20 The earth
reels to and fro like a drunkard, and is shaken like a night hut; and its
transgression is heavy upon it; and it will fall and shall not rise again.
Isaiah 24:18-20
The prophet Yoel/Joel also wrote of the great and apocalyptic destruction which would
be caused by this forthcoming judgment:
Alas for the day! For the Day of hwhy is at hand,
and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.
Joel 1:15
For the sake of comparison, we will read the entire prophecy of the coming judgment
seen in Isaiah chapter 2:
10 Enter into the rock, and hide in the dust, from before the terror of hwhy, and from the
splendor of His majesty. 11 The high looks of man will be brought low, and the
haughtiness of men will be bowed down, and hwhy alone shall be exalted in that day.

that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan, 14 and upon all the high
mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up, 15 and upon every lofty tower, and
upon every fortified wall, 16 and upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant
imagery. 17 And the loftiness of man will be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men
will be brought low; and hwhy alone shall be exalted in that day. 18 And the idols will
utterly pass away. 19 And men will go into the caves of the rocks, and into the holes of
the earth, from before the terror of hwhy, and from the splendor of His majesty, when He
arises to shake mightily the earth. 20 In that day men will cast away their idols of silver,
and their idols of gold, which have been made for them to worship, to the moles and to
the bats; 21 to go into the caverns of the rocks, and into the clefts of the lofty rocks, from
before the terror of hwhy, and from the splendor of His majesty, when He arises to shake
mightily the earth. 22 Cease from man, whose breath is in his nostrils; for wherein is he
to be esteemed? Isaiah 2:10-22
We see this Scripture’s ultimate fulfillment in Revelation 6:12-17. For, at the time when
the Messiah opens the Sixth Seal and rolls up the heavens like a scroll,111 all the peoples
of the Earth will flee to the caves and to the mountains before His terror:
12 And I saw when He opened the Sixth Seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the
sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the whole moon became as blood; 13 and the
stars of the heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts her unripe figs when she is shaken
of a mighty wind. 14 And heaven was removed as a scroll when it is rolled up; and every
mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and
the princes, and the chief captains, and the rich, and the strong, and every bondman and
freeman, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 and they say
to the mountains and to the rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sits
on the Throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 for the great day of their wrath has
come, and who is able to stand? Revelation 6:12-17
In Psalm 82:5, we also see the unrepentant, fallen angels persisting onward in their trek
through darkness:
They know not, neither do they understand;
they walk on in darkness …
Psalm 82:5
By continuing to walk in unrighteousness, these spirits will have further influenced this
world to work iniquity. And in so doing, they will assuredly incite the wrath of hwhy.
And even as the judgments of hwhy begin in earnest, these fallen angels will temporarily
prevail in the spiritual sway which they presently hold over the multitudes which follow
their spiritual lead; for even in the face of such severe judgments, most people will still
refuse to repent:

repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons,
and the idols of gold, and of silver, and of bronze, and of stone, and of wood;
which can neither see, nor hear, nor walk: 21 and they repented not
of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication,
nor of their thefts. Revelation 9:20

♦ Psalm 82:6-7 ♦
6 I have said, “You are elohim; and all of you are
sons of the Most High. 7 But you shall die like men,

The Messiah Quotes This Text
As indicated earlier, the Messiah cited this Scripture from Psalm 82.112 And when one
understands the issues – specifically, that only a being formed by the direct, creative
working of Elohim can be called a son of Elohim – this is another proof, not only of the
Savior’s virgin birth, but also that He was/is the Messiah. eswhy was formed in the
womb of Miriam/Mary by a direct, creative act of the Most High.113 Therefore, being
found in human form114 by the direct, creative working of Elohim,115 the Messiah could
authoritatively quote Psalm 82: He was the Son of Elohim in every respect.116
The Host of the High Ones on High and the Kings of the Earth Upon the Earth
The unrighteous beings addressed in this psalm are the legions of spiritual wickedness
now ruling with abusive power in the heavens; these are the beings to which Sha’ul
referred in Ephesians 6:10-12:117
10 Finally, be strong in the Sovereign, and in the strength of His might.

schemes of the Devil. 12 For our wrestling is not against blood and flesh, but against
the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness,
against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavens.

power and influence. In the Day of hwhy, the Body of Messiah will displace and replace these rebellious, spirit
beings when the faithful are resurrected to rule over the nations with complete righteousness and justice. Luke

commentary, on “the host of the high ones on high:” Satan and his demonic forces –
forces that have long-influenced heathen kings and peoples to commit innumerable
atrocities and injustices across the centuries of man’s existence. The prophet Isaiah wrote
significant details of this forthcoming punishment:
21 And it will come to pass in that day, that hwhy will punish
the host of the high ones on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.
22 And they will be gathered, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall
be shut up in the prison, and after many days they will be visited. Isaiah 24:21-22
Yet we see this very same thing prophesied to occur in the judgments of Revelation:
Satan and his host are cast completely down to earth118 ushering in a period of terrible,
lawless influence on the kings of the earth. Great unrighteousness will prevail for a short
season. And for this evil the world’s inhabitants will be severely punished. Such is the
wrath which comes forth from the Heavens in the Day of hwhy. Great unrighteousness
will prevail for a short season; but after this, as the prophet Isaiah said, the terrible
spiritual influence promoted by these evil beings will be ended because they will be shut
up in prison:
1 And I saw a messenger coming down out of heaven, having the key
of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he laid hold on the Dragon,
the old serpent, which is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years,
3 and cast him into the abyss, and shut it, and sealed it over him,
that he should deceive the nations no more …
Revelation 20:1-3
So these beings are shut up in prison during the Millennium: their evil influence will be
banished from the Earth for 1000 years. But Isaiah also tells us that “after many days”
these evil forces “shall be visited.”119 And this visitation is also seen in the Revelation
prophecies. Satan is bound in the abyss/prison for a specific reason:
… that he should deceive the nations no more,
until the thousand years should be finished 120…

118
Revelation 12:7-10
119
Isaiah 24:22
120
Regarding the Millennium: Some people teach that, during this 1000-Year Reign, the Earth will be waste and
empty while Satan roams its desolate landscape. Nothing could be farther from the truth! Scripture clearly indicates
Satan is bound, chained, imprisoned! Isaiah 24:22, Revelation 20:1-3 Further, the Messiah teaches us: “Blessed are
the meek, for they shall inherit the earth!” Matthew 5:5, Luke 19:11-19 The earth will not be desolate during the
Millennium: it is part of the inheritance of those who overcome! Revelation 2:26-27, 5:9-10, 20:4-6 And why is
Satan bound in the abyss? “So that he should deceive the nations no more!” Revelation 20:3 And when he is visited
“after many days,” Satan does not come forth into a desolate, empty terra firma! He comes forth to deceive the
nations that are in the four corners of the earth! So if the earth is to be desolate and empty during the Millennium,
from where do all these great multitudes (Revelation 20:7-8) come? So many glaring contradictions are introduced
by this desolate earth theory, that it only serves one purpose: to show us the complete folly of doctrines which are
deduced from man’s twisting the crystal clear statements of Scripture.

19
But as the prophecy continues, we see that, after many days, at the end of the
Millennium, Satan is visited:
… after this he must be loosed for a little time.
Revelation 20:3
This is in complete agreement with what Isaiah said: “After many days” Satan will be
visited; he (and his cohorts) will be released from the abyss:
7 And when the thousand years are finished, Satan will be loosed out of his prison,
8 and will come forth to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth,
Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war: the number of whom is as the sand
of the sea. 9 And they went up over the breadth of the earth, and surrounded the camp of
the set apart ones, and the beloved city: and fire came down out of heaven, and devoured
them.121 10 And the Devil that deceived them was cast into the Lake of Fire and
Brimstone, where also are the beast and the false prophet; and they will be tormented
day and night to the Age and beyond. Revelation 20:3
And the fallen angels’ punishment in the Lake of Fire also concurs with Psalm 82:
6 I have said, “You are elohim; and all of you are
sons of the Most High. 7 But you shall die like men,
and fall like one of the princes.”
These beings will ultimately suffer the second death in the Lake of Fire. Although they
are not men, as the Scripture indicates they will die like men: Like the rebellious,
disobedient humans they led astray, these beings will suffer the second death in the Lake
of Fire and Brimstone.

Arise, Elohim, judge the earth:
for You shall inherit all nations.
A Call to Judge the Earth
Though evil may seem to prevail in these days,122 we have the assurance that Elohim
will certainly arise to judgment:123 hwhy will not long tolerate the present state of this
sin-soaked world; He will arise to destroy all the sinful kingdoms of the Earth,124 and He
will come forth to render complete justice worldwide.125 The Day of hwhy will be His
war which He wages against all adversaries of His Eternal Kingdom. The prophet
Mosheh spoke of this war and the Ark of the Almighty’s Presence as Yisrael went forth
to conduct battles on behalf of hwhy in the land of Canaan:

We see this great conflagration as a fulfillment of the prophecy in Psalm 118:10-12: David will be resurrected
as the King of Yisrael (Jeremiah 30:7-9), and all evidence indicates he will be the one to call down fire from heaven,
in the Name of hwhy, upon this great multitude of warring nations.

And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Mosheh said,
“Rise up, hwhy, and let Your enemies be scattered;
and let those that hate You flee before You.”
Numbers 10:35
King David would later refer to these words of Mosheh in Tehillah/Psalm 68:
Let Elohim arise, let His enemies be scattered;
And let those that hate Him flee before Him.
Psalm 68:1
But just as the Ark of His Presence scattered His enemies when Yisrael went forth to
conquer those wicked nations in the days of old, so that Ark will send forth His wrath yet
again: only this time He will scatter and defeat His enemies in every nation on the Earth:
Behold, hwhy makes the earth empty, and makes it waste,
and turns it upside down, and scatters abroad the inhabitants thereof.
Isaiah 24:1
When the Ark of His Covenant is revealed in the heavens, hwhy will send forth His wrath
to scatter His enemies – all those who oppose the Good News of His Kingdom will flee
before Him:
17 … We give You thanks, hwhy El Shaddai, who is and who was; because You have
taken Your great power, and have reigned. 18 And the nations were angry, and Your
wrath came, and the time of the dead to be judged, and the time to give their reward to
Your servants the prophets, and to the set apart ones, and to those that fear Your Name,
the small and the great; and to destroy those that destroy the earth. 19 And there was
opened the temple of Elohim that is in heaven; and there was seen in His temple the Ark
of His Covenant: and there followed lightnings, and voices, and thunders, and an
earthquake, and great hail. Revelation 11:17-19
In the Day of hwhy, His wrath will be sent forth and His enemies will be scattered. We
see this Revelation prophecy corresponding to a similar one spoken by David in the
Eighteenth Psalm:
6 In my distress, I called upon hwhy, and cried to my Elohim: He heard my voice out of
His temple, and my cry came before Him, even into His ears. 7 Then the earth shook and
trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because He was
angry. 8 There went up a smoke out of His nostrils, and fire out of His mouth devoured:
coals were kindled by it. 9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness
was under His feet. 10 And He rode upon a cherub, and flew; yes, He flew upon the
wings of the wind. 11 He made darkness His secret place; His pavilion around Him were
dark waters and thick clouds of the skies. 12 At the brightness that was before Him, His
thick clouds passed: hail stones and coals of fire. 13 hwhy also thundered in the heavens,
and the Highest gave His voice; hail stones and coals of fire. 14 Yes, He sent out His
arrows, and scattered them; and He shot out great lightning, and confused them.

21
15 Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were
uncovered at Your rebuke, hwhy, at the blast of the breath of Your nostrils. Psalm 18:6-15
Channah/Hannah, the mother of Samuel, also prophesied that hwhy would thunder from
the heavens upon His enemies:
The adversaries of hwhy shall be broken to pieces;
out of heaven He shall thunder upon them: hwhy shall judge
the ends of the earth; and He will give strength to His king,
and exalt the horn of His anointed (mashiach).
1Samuel 2:10
This prophecy had a partial fulfillment in the days of her son, Samuel:
And as Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines
drew near to battle against Yisrael: but hwhy thundered with a great
noise on that day upon the Philistines, and confused them;
and they were smitten before Yisrael.
1Samuel 7:10
But the ultimate fulfillment of Channah’s words will be seen when Elohim thunders from
the heavens upon all of His enemies in the Day of hwhy.126 When hwhy arises in great
wrath, He will judge the Earth, and His enemies will be scattered like dust before the
wind127 because they have opposed those things which embody His Presence, the Ark of
the Covenant: His lovingkindness (chesed), His judgment (mishpat), and His
righteousness (tzedakah).128 These are the things in which hwhy delights! And the Ark of
the Covenant – together with all of its contents (which includes His Torah) – is a
testimony of His lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness.
You Shall Inherit All Nations
On the Day of His Coronation as King of kings, the Messiah ascended into heaven and
descended;129 this is the Day He was waved before the Father and accepted as the
Wavesheaf.130 On this Day, hwhy offered to eswhy the Messiah all of the nations as His
inheritance, and the ends of the Earth for His possession:
7 I will tell of the decree: hwhy said to Me, “You are My Son,
this day I have begotten You. 8 Ask of Me, and I will give the nations
for Your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for Your possession.
9 You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in
pieces like a potter’s vessel.” Psalm 2:7-9

22
When the Messiah promised, “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth,”131
He meant just that! And being the Prophet like Mosheh,132 eswhy was the most meek
man in all the earth.133 Being the Epitome of Meekness, eswhy was given all the nations
as His inheritance and the ends of the earth became His possession! Those who follow
the Messiah, those who walk by the Spirit in His example of Torah observance, those
believers will be exalted by Him as rulers over cities and nations:134 They will be called
“great” in the Kingdom of heaven (on earth).135 Thus, did Daniel prophesy that the
chasidim136 would possess the Kingdom:
But the set apart ones of the Most High shall receive the Kingdom,
and possess the Kingdom unto the Age, and unto the Age of Ages.
Daniel 7:18
… Until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was given
to the set apart ones of the Most High,137 and the time came that
the set apart ones possessed the Kingdom.138
Daniel 7:22
And the Kingdom and the dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms
under the whole heaven,139 shall be given to the people of the set apart ones
of the Most High: His Kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all
dominions shall serve and obey Him.
Daniel 7:27
And so will the Scripture be fulfilled that “the meek shall inherit the Earth!”140 All of
these great things will come to pass in the Day of hwhy! And in this Great Day, the
heavens will rejoice:
And the seventh messenger did sound, and there came great voices
in the heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become those
of our Sovereign and of His Messiah, and He shall
reign to the ages of the ages!”'
Revelation 11:15
In the Day of hwhy, His Kingship and His Presence will be more fully known in all the
Earth. And from that time forward, things will never be the same: This world of sin and

Summary
Although Psalm 82 is brief, it nevertheless reveals the major issues surrounding the Day
of hwhy: His judgments will be sent forth on the satanic forces which, over the millennia,
have influenced the kings and peoples of the earth to walk in abject lawlessness. This
terrible influence, both great and evil, cannot go answered: Those many centuries of
deception, greed, and murderous lust must surely be punished. hwhy will arise in anger to
shake mightily the Earth, and all the kingdoms of this world will fall. But the Messiah
will inherit the nations!142 He will possess and rule over the ends of the Earth!143 He will
arise to save His people Yisrael! He will come forth to rule over them with justice and
righteousness; and His reign will fill the Earth with 1000 years of abundant peace, love,
and joy! When the Righteous Messiah bears rule, the peoples will rejoice.144
Let the nations be glad and sing for joy:
For You will judge the peoples with uprightness,
and guide the nations on the earth. Selah.
Psalm 67:4
11 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice;
let the sea roar, and the fullness thereof. 12 Let the field exult, and
all that is therein. Then shall all the trees of the woods sing for joy
13 before hwhy; for He is coming; for He is coming to judge the earth:
He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with His truth.
Psalm 96:11-13145
Let the hearts of those who seek hwhy rejoice! t

Postscript
When given the vision which we now know as “The Revelation,” was the apostle John in
the Spirit on “the Lord’s Day,” or was he in the Spirit regarding “the Day of hwhy”? We
believe it was the latter since “the Lord’s Day” was only instituted many centuries after
the Savior, in 321 C.E. And since “the Lord’s Day” has largely usurped one of the Ten
Commandments, we know it can be said, “An enemy has done this:”146
In a political-religious move, the Emperor Constantine instituted
the pagan Sun-day and succumbed to the adversarial spirit which had long-since
been prophesied to “think to change the times and the law” in blatant opposition to
the immutable, age-abiding Torah of hwhy El Shaddai. Daniel 7:25
Ever since that time, the majority of those who supposed themselves to be following the
Messiah have fallen terribly short of the mark by negating major elements of His
Torah.147 For articles which support the truth of this all-important matter, see the

An Excellent Translation of the Scriptures

The INSTITUTE FOR SCRIPTURE RESEARCH is an organization of Messianic believers
based in South Africa. They have published an excellent version of the Word of hwhy
which they have called, “The Scriptures.”
“ISRV” is an abbreviation which readers will have seen at various locations in the study.
ISRV is an acronym which means: “INSTITUTE FOR SCRIPTURE RESEARCH VERSION.” Thus,
it is our abbreviation/acronym for the Institute’s translation of the Scriptures.
This outstanding translation fulfills the Word of hwhy to Mosheh by restoring His Qadosh
Name – the Name which hwhy declared to be His unchanging Memorial across an
immense time span of 1000 generations! Exodus 3:14-15, Deuteronomy 7:9.
For those wishing to make further inquiry, and to possibly order this translation, the
website address for ISR is:
