Fear of El/Fear of Man

Hatsier

Fear of El—good thing/fear of man—harmful, enmity with our faith

Luke 12:4,5 “And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that
kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will
forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed
hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.”
Must see beyond flesh. Verses 4 and 5 both use the Greek phobos for
“fear”. Fear of man—unclean, tormenting/fear of El—pure, clean, helps
us depart from iniquity.

Proverbs 29:25 “The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth
his trust in the LORD shall be safe.”
Satan using men to drive us away in fear/using fear to turn us from
righteousness.

1 Samuel 15:24 “And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have
transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because
I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.”
Peer pressure. Saul gave into pressure, didn’t lift up standard.
Nehemiah feared El

Deuteronomy 1:17 “Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; [but] ye

shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be afraid of the
face of man; for the judgment [is] God's: and the cause that is too hard
for you, bring [it] unto me, and I will hear it.”
Judge righteously, whether important people or unimportant, big or
small.

Numbers 14:9 “Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the
people of the land; for they [are] bread for us: their defence is
departed from them, and the LORD [is] with us: fear them not.”
Some weren’t fearing the enemy—whether Satan or people, men,
police, not a peaceful place to be afraid of the adversary.

Psalms 56:4 “In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I
will not fear what flesh can do unto me.”
Association between trusting El and not fearing.

Hebrews 13:6 “So that we may boldly say, The Lord [is] my helper, and
I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”
Not to fear man, not to be afraid of suffering, death; knowing that if we
can press through, we have a reward in the next world. Sometimes
why people don’t come out—don’t know how to trust in Elohiym. They
want to have security they can see. Safety is of YAHVEH—what so not
or faith is sin. These fears try to turn us aside fom trusting in El and
doing right.

1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear:
because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in
love.”
Fear of man tormenting. Yeshua came to deliver us from fear of death.
People get bound from fears. Need to seek El for peace, not be afraid.
I sought YAHWEH and he heard me, delivered me from all my fears.

Revelations 21:8 “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the

abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and
idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth
with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
Fearfulness unclean. Listening to voice of adversary. Shadrack,
Meshack, Abednego. Needful to seek Elohiym for understanding.

Psalms 85:9 “Surely his salvation [is] nigh them that fear him; that
glory may dwell in our land.”
Having great mercy, great glory in our life by fear of El; riches, honour,
life.

Acts 5:5 “And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the
ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.”
El is not playing around. Being afraid to sin.

Isaiah 8:13 “Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and [let] him [be] your
fear, and [let] him [be] your dread.”
A holy, clean thing to hate sin. (El hates sin)

CONCERNING WISDOM

Psalms 111:10 “The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: a
good understanding have all they that do [his commandments]: his
praise endureth for ever.”
Very beginning. (Some souls don’t have beginning)

Proverbs 1:27 “When your fear cometh as desolation, and your

destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh
upon you.”
Until you begin fearing—tinkling cymbal, maybe headknowledge

Proverbs 16:6 “By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear
of the LORD [men] depart from evil.”
About not partaking. Provokes us to be good and clean. Not going to
be seduced by uncleanness. No to give in to lasciviousness. Helps us
be sober.

Proverbs 23:17 “Let not thine heart envy sinners: but [be thou] in the
fear of the LORD all the day long.”
Two here opposites. Begin seeking fear of El morning “All day long”
Holy place to dwell in

Judges :12
People partaking and not fearing—children of Devil—not afraid (none
his like make without fear)
Yeshua has spirit of fear of YAHVEH—afraid to do evil. Be wise, learn
about wisdom. Get fear of Elohiym.
