This post is for you guys... On your "Never Ending" queries regarding Calculating Overall
Percentile.... I heard Elitmus has now a days stopped providing "Overall Percentile" and i can see
why that happened... But before i proceed with this post... below are the links of my previous three
posts, so that you can get the idea.... What i am talking about in this post... :D

So lets begin... But first thing first.
*** This Post is to help you in "Estimating Overall Percentile"... It "Doesn't Guarantee"that the
"Estimation will be 100% accurate. I don't know any Solid Formula to calculate percentile, its
all Observation/Experiance. So please avoid taking any "Load" faltu mai...!!!
Hmm.. having said that... here we go :)
A rough idea about Sectional Percentile:
Quant;
0 marks --- 40 percentile
Up-to 10 Marks(1 correct question) --- 50+ percentile
Up-to 20 Marks(2 correct question) --- 60+ percentile
Up-to 30 Marks(3 correct question) --- 75+ percentile
30+ marks --- 80-85+ percentile
See....this is why i Emphasis on "Attempting Less But with Accuracy" :)
Reasoining:
Up-to 20 Marks(2 correct question) --- 40+ percentile
Up-to 30 Marks(3 correct question) --- 50+ percentile
Up-to 40 Marks(4 correct question) --- 65+ percentile
Up-to 50 Marks(5 correct question) --- 80+ percentile
50+ Marks --- 85+ percentile
Verbal:
Up-to 20 Marks(2 correct question) --- 20+ percentile
Up-to 60 Marks(6 correct question) --- 60+ percentile
Up-to 90 Marks(9 correct question) --- 85+ percentile
Up-to 100 marks --- 90+ percentile
120+ marks --- 96+ percentile
Now Calculating "Overall Percentile".... umm sorry... "Estimating Overall Percentile" :)
Some sectional percentile combination which will give you idea about estimating overall
percentile.
Quant 50 + Reasoning 85 + Verbal 95 == 90+ overall percentile
Quant 30 + Reasoning 70 + Verbal 95 == 80+ overall percentile
Quant 80 + Reasoning 80 + Verbal 90 == 95+ overall percentile
Quant 60 + Reasoning 80 + Verbal 90 == 85+ overall percentile
You can observe that "weightage of Sectional Score in Overall percentile" is as: Quant >

Now Please.... Don't start asking question like... "How come X after getting A,B,C sectional score
has his/her percentile Greater than me when mine score is Nearly Equal/Equal/Greater than
him/her????"
I think this is the REASON, why Elitmus has Stopped giving Over all Percentile. They got their
"Algorithm" their "Method"...... Whatever it may be... and However it may work..... BUT its upto
them....!!! All you guys can focus on is Scoring As high as Possible.
Hope this suffices your queries. I will encourage you guys to "Get those guys, who got their Overall
Percentile(who gave elitmus when, elitmus used to provide overall percentile) and Post it in
Comments"... so that you will have more Examples to compare your percentile. :)

I scored :
Verbal - 96.90%
Problem Solving - 94.74%
Quantitative - 73.26%
Shall I opt to give exam again as Quant <75% or what ? and how much will be my Aggregate
percentile :)

verbal - 75 ,, Percentile- 77
Problem solving -27 , percentile- 74
Quant - 50 percentile- 91
What are the chance of getting calls.??

My question is i got 81 , 77 , 96 in verbal problem solving and quant respectivly.
What is cummulative percentile and in my graduation i only secured 58% .
What are the chances of me getting calls 4m d company

Hi, I'am in 4-2 B-tech(IT) i want to write elitmus test but we don't have our 10th and inter certificates
with us and our college is not providing us they would provide after around 6 months so what to
doooooooooo???????/

quant-- 40 ---84.05 percentile
problem solving--30--77.8 percentile
verbal--52----58 percentile
Sir will i get any calls for this score or should i take the test again..

Hello Sir,
I am a Final Year CSE Student and my Elitmus Score & Percentile are :
Verbal:95% (Score:120)
Quant:85% (Score:40)
Logical Reasoning:84% (Score:40)
Is this good Enough to get calls for interview from a decent number of companies or should I try
again.??

Sir I want to ask u that the previous percentile of ph scale is overlap on the next one if the score of
nextone is more good???
And if I secured
Verbal:41%
Quant:83%
Logical Reasoning:31%
and in my next attempt i would secure
Verbal:82%
Quant:31%
Logical Reasoning:51%
then what is my final percentile????

verbal - 85.63
problem solving - 99.2
quant - 69.72

I got Qunat: 83.28, PS : 58.96, Verbal : 43.27, What will be my overall score.
Is this the good, average or a bad score. Any chance for interview calls.

Verbal 64.81
Problem Solving 88.47
Quantitative 89.70 Percentile

I appeared for the pH test on 1 june. My scorecard is as follows
Section Percentile
Verbal 70.46
Problem Solving 96.25
Quantitative 89.75
Can anyone give me idea regarding my overall percentile and chances of getting interview calls.
