Street children is a term for children suffering homelessness who primarily live on the streets of a city.

Homeless childhren are often called street clild.


Brick Clinker: For collecting their foods, sometimes street clild work as blick clinker in some construction
project. As if they work hard but they get little wage as a clild labour. So, with this wage they only can
manage foods thmeself for a day.
Street Hawker: Some of the street childrens in Dhaka City sell vegetable in street, sometimes we see
that some of then sell flower in street or in the car on trafic jam.
Garbage Collector: Most street children work in Dhaka, a common job is Garbage Collector, in which
they sift through garbage in order to collect recyclable material. The children usually rise before sunrise
and carry their heavy load in a large bag over their shoulder. Garbage Collectors can be seen beside
dogs searching through garbage.

Conclution
Although no comprehensive and reliable statistics are available on the actual numbers, living conditions,
needs and interests of children living on the streets, estimates predict a continuing increase in the
number of these children. Thousands of children on the streets of Bangladesh are being denied their
rights according to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), which recognises
that every child is entitled to a standard of living adequate for the child's physical, mental, spiritual,
moral and social development.
