Drakkar and Castle Game

In the last term I have learned many new and very interesting things about history of England. I have
understood who the Vikings, from where they came and why are they important for creation of British
nation.
Our school organized a visit to Jorvik and it was amazing to see how the Vikings really lived and how
their villages look like.
I know now what a longship is, who was Odin, Freya, Thor, Loki, Baldur and Fenrir. I learned the Vikings
were fearless as they believed if they died in battle they will go to Walhalla and will be guests to father
of all gods, Odin.
I learned about terrifying raiders that conquered parts of England and further went west to France. They
formed the kingdoms of York and Daneslaw and they created the Normand nation.
You can still feel their presence in names of the places around us, in ruins found by archeologists and
even in the faces of people on the streets.
So I created this game to allow other children to learn new things about England history.
