Flamingo flocking season is August 1-September 15

MondayThursday (our flamingos need to rest on the weekends)

The Concept
Surprise someone with a yard full of bright, pink flamingos. For a donation, we can have a flock of
flamingos migrate to just about any residence. When you order someone on our flocking team will
deliver a group of flamingos to an unsuspecting yards where they have been directed to roost. Imagine
the look on someones face when they discover a flock of flamingos taking sanctuary in their front
yard. The flocking recipient will be left with an explanation, care instructions, and the number to the
flamingo rescue hotline. All birds will be removed within 48 hours.
Why Flamingo Flocking
Flamingo flocking is a new idea that they community will enjoy participating in. It is also a fantastic
way to support your local Girl Scout troop.
Flocking Fundamentals:
To make this fundraiser successful, please consider these guidelines before placing a Flocking order:
Flocking should be done in good spirit and never meant to be malicious
Victims should be good natured and have a sense of humor
Flocking can only take place at residential front yards (no apartments, condos, businesses, etc)
Flamingos will not migrate outside of Beaufort county
Flamingo Insurance:
If you would like to insure that you will not be flocked you can purchase flocking insurance. This in-
surance policy will insure that you will NOT get flocked during the entire flocking season (good for
only one year). The cost of flocking insurance is $20.00.

Flocking is done Monday-Thursday (our flamingos need to rest on weekends). Deliveries will not in-
cur if extenuating circumstances prevail (locked gates, bad weather, loose dogs, etc.).

GOOD MORNING!!
As you can see, a large flock of flamingos have migrated to your front yard. This is by no means an
accident. Your house was selected by a friend or family member. Now you will also have the oppor-
tunity to participate in the fun.
The Flamingo Flocking fundraiser is hosted by Girl Scout Troop 87, as a very non-traditional way to
raise funds to support our local Girl Scout troop. The girls are trying to raise enough money to fund
their community service activities throughout the year.
How it Works: Our flock of flamingos will r oost in your yar d for the next two days. In case you
did not know, plastic pink flamingos are very territorial. Removal should only be attempted by a
trained individual. If you would like to have them removed sooner please call one of our flocking team
members (number listed below). We will send one of our highly trained removal specialists ASAP. If
you would like to find out who flocked you, please include a donation of $5 (for $10 we will flock
them for you if they have NOT purchased insurance).
