Automatic optical AGC.
Operation & Maintenance communication over optical fiber.
Optional built-in wireless modem or RJ45 Ethernet port for remote controlling
and monitoring.
IP65 weatherproof RU with built-in surge protector.
Optional Passive Unit for duplexer input.


Product Description

The RA-5200 Tri-band Fiber Optic Repeater provides flexible and scalable solution of multi-band, multi-operator coverage
extension applications, such as citywide enhancement, highway, canyons, campus, underground tunnels, airports,
convention centers, etc.

This system consists of Master Unit (MU) and Remote Unit (RU). The RU is an integrated RF unit that can support a single
system of up to three frequency bands (GSM900, DCS1800 and WCDMA2100). In addition, the modular designed system
can be easily configured for optical fiber distributed application by adding MU and RU. The MU can support up to four RUs
by adding additional optical module.

Installation and commissioning of the RA-5200 can be accomplished by the OMT software via direct connection to a PC that
facilitates remote monitoring and parameter adjustment. An optional Operations and Maintenance Center (OMC) software
can be incorporated for central monitoring of Comba Products.

The MU and RU are communicated over the optical fiber; hence, the RUs can be remotely controlled by connection to MU
locally or remotely.

Adjustable parameters include: Uplink Gain Setting, Downlink Gain Setting, Alarm Threshold Setting, etc.

Monitored parameters include: Downlink Output Power, Temperature, etc.

Alarm parameters include: Downlink Output Power Low, Optical Alarm, Door Open, Temperature, etc.
