• Diagonal = side * 2^1/2
• We know that diameter will be diagonal of
a square. Diagonal is = 1.414214*side.
• Thus side is 20/1.414214 =14.14 approx.

what is 15th term?
• In AP, A= first term, d= difference between 2
terms. TN= A + (n-1)d and sn=n/2(2a+(n-1)d)
• TN= any term – term number
• A+6d=17
• A+17d=39

• Difference between 7th & 15th term is 8 – so solve
it as under:

solve it.

• Solving this we get X = 19 answer.
• =1/2 [3(1-X) + 2(X-4)+ 8(4-1)] = 0
• ½ [3-3x+2x-8+24] = 0
• ½ [19-x]=0
