Objectives: In the recent years, Geology is found to have wide spread application in the
field of Engineering. Earth Science data is more important to understand the processes of
the earth’s work and its applications in the design and execution of various works
keeping in mind, the economy and stability of the projects. Earth Science (Geology) is
classified in to various branches, which are used as core in different fields of
Engineering. The engineer proceeds with his work and the geologist helps him in solving
the unforeseen problems.

Objectives: The course objectives of ‘Green technology’ is two-fold – (a) exploration of


viable substitutes for the modern technologies, especially in areas of construction, with
marginal compromise on comforts and (b) qualitative approach to bring out true-
greenness (eco-sustainability) with regard to modification of lifestyles, based on
indigenous knowledge-base.

Objectives: Before completion of this course each student should be able to understand
necessity, components and traditional and modern methods of water management; solve
some simple problems using simple tools; understand the problems and mitigating
measures of flood and drought; understand the water laws and disputes at different levels
in water sharing; debate the causes of disputes and the possible solutions.

Objectives: This course covers functional role of Information system in management


strategies. Analysis of system development models is dealt with. The various phases in

Course Objective: The course enables the students to design web pages and also makes
them understand about the working of Internet. Students will gain knowledge of Markup
Languages, Scripting languages and Server side programming. After completing this
course they will be competent enough to design and host a web site in the real time
scenario. They will also gain technical know-how of web programming tools.

NEMS, process involved in fabrication and various applications.

techniques with emphasis on those used in high technology applications, including

knowledge in processing both elementary pure materials and compounds that can be
prepared in their crystalline, polycrystalline, nanocrystalline or amorphous forms which
will provide guidance on the deposition of thin films used in industry and science

Course Name: Vedic Mathematics

Course Objective: To teach the students about the ancient system of Indian Mathematics
which was rediscovered from the Vedas between 1911 and 1918 by Sri Bharati Krsna
Tirthaji (1884-1960). The students will be introduced to the concepts in the 16 word
formulae that describe the way the mind naturally works and are therefore a great help in
directing the student to the appropriate method of solution.
