Sensex up 80 pts, Nifty ends flat; Hero, TCS gains 3%

The market has ended on higher note. The Sensex was up 80.40 points at 25641.56, and the
Nifty was up 23.45 points at 7663.90. About 1439 shares have advanced, 1506 shares declined,
and 103 shares are unchanged. Hero and TCS are up 3 percent each while ICICI Bank and Wipro
are top gainers in the Sensex. Among the losers were Tata Power, BHEL, Hindalco, GAIL and
Maruti.
