The highly absorbent eece coated acoustic ceiling THERMATEX Alpha

black is the ideal solution for the special requirements in cinemas, movie
theatres and home cinemas. Reverberation times in cinemas have to be as
short as possible in order that the movies sound effects can be enjoyed in all
purity. Therefore ceilings and walls of a cinema all have to be highly sound
absorbent.
The absorbent surfaces and short reverberation times minimize the rooms
acoustic inuence on movie sound for its full effect without distortion.
Additionally, interfering sounds are dampened effectively to enable a visually
and acoustically perfect cinema experience.
The black acoustic eece on the tiles surface meets the very low light
reectance requirement for cinemas.
Grid proles with the visible anges coloured black are available for a
homogenous look of the ceiling.
The special aesthetic and acoustic qualities make THERMATEX Alpha black
suitable for other areas of application, such as restaurants, bars, clubs and
bowling alleys.

With a coloured surface the appearance of THERMATEX Alpha is smooth and
elegant. New generation bio-soluble mineral wool, clay and starch contributes
to the excellent acoustic performance.
