Charrette- Design Philosophy
The station shall be an enhancement to the street and the surrounding
building context; more part of the street, as opposed to a monument
placed in the street

Station Design Statements
Stations shall have a level of continuity across the corridor with defined
elements or art that may change at each station to reflect the locations
character, history and/or culture.
The design shall be designed with primary consideration given to the
comfort, safety, and accessibility for all users.
The station experience shall start at the sidewalk.
The station architecture and urban design elements shall be
complementary complementary.
The stations shall be background buildings, a framework for art, but with
some elements identifiable as transit stations to facilitate wayfinding.
Durable, high quality, easily maintained and sustainable materials and
concepts shall be incorporated into the design.
