Overview
The AdjustIt Pro height adjustable mount and stand for eInstruction Dual Boards accom-
modates the needs of both teacher and student. Now everyone can raise or lower the white-
board to a comfortable level. The spring mechanism provides smooth operation with 20
inches of height-adjustability.

The AdjustIt Pro is a modular conguration for mounting the 1279, 1289 or 1297 Dual
Board with a projector arm to accommodate short throw or ultra short throw projectors.

Important considerations
1. Measure the height of any door that the system is expected to pass through.
This information is required for initial setup.

2. The total system weighs between 154 - 200 lb (70 kg - 91 kg) and should be installed with
care. Two people are required for some steps of the installation.

3. The installer must verify compliance with all local building codes and ensure that the
supporting wall surface will safely support the combined load of all equipment plus a
conservative safety factor and that correct mounting hardware is being used.

4. Please use the system only as intended. Do not hang from or climb on the system.

5. No unauthorized modications or additions are to be made to the system.

CAUTION
The springs in the height adjustable unit can store a large amount of energy; use care
when assembling, installing and adjusting.
DO NOT remove the locking pin to raise the assembly without rst installing the board
and projector.
Follow all installation instructions when setting tension and adjusting height of
assembly.
Failure to place system in equilibrium prior to pin removal could result in serious
personal injury.

Attaching the mount to the mobile stand
1. Choose the mounting height:
The mobile stand allows for the mount
to be at tached in 3 different heights.
Low position: use the lowest position
(3rd and 6th hole) if clearance of lowest
door is less than 77.5 / 195cm or for
applications in Kindergarten or Primary
education where lower board heights
are required.
High position: if clearance is greater than
77.5 / 195cm and for applications
where higher board heights are prefered.

2. Put the M8x80 screws in the desired upper
holes from the back side of the frame.Use
one washer under each bolt head.

3. Tape the screws to the frame. This will
make it easier to attach the mount to the
stand.

4. Place the mount onto the stand and
secure the mount with one M8 washer
and M8 nut per screw.

Securing the spring tension
Securing the spring tension mechanism to the lowest position

CAUTION
The springs in the height adjustable unit can store a large amount of energy;
use care when assembling, installing and adjusting.
DO NOT remove the locking pin to raise the assembly without rst installing the board
and projector
Follow all installation instructions when setting tension and adjusting height of assembly.
Failure to place system in equilibrium prior to pin removal could result in serious personal
injury.

The spring tension mechanism should be secured in its lowest position before proceeding with
the installation of board and projector.
Two people are required to perform this step.

To secure the spring tension mechanism to the lowest position:

1. pull the mechanism down. Use caution;
the spring mechanism stores a large
amountof energy. If suddenly released,
the moving carriage could inict personal
injury.

2. Have a second person secure the system in
its lowest position by inserting the retention
pin. The retention pin ts in the through-
and-through hole of the vertical tube.
After inserting pin, roll clip around the
vertical tube to secure.

Installing the G2 projector post (applies only for mounts with G2 board frame)
To install the G2 post:

1. Remove the M10 bolts, which will be used
after assembly to secure the arm in the
projection position.

2. Slide the projector post into the projector
arm support

3. Select one of the 7 available mounting
positions, considering the available room
height and door clearance, and secure the
post with the M10 hexagon head screws.

Attaching the Dual Board to the frame
The Dual Board is attached to the mount using the mounting rail on the back side of the
board.
To attach the Dual Board to the height adjustable mount:

1. Insert 2 #10-32 x 3/4 screws into the inserts in the upper mounting rail on the
back side of the board.

2. Hang the board into the frame

3. Before inserting the 2 #10-32 x 3/4 screws into the lower mounting rail,
position the aluminium pen tray between the Dual Board and the board frame.
4. Secure all 4 screws tightly

16
Assembly instruction for AdjustIt Pro stand
Installing the projector mount to NHV-G2 projector post

1. Mount the projector to the projector mount
(see assembly instruction projector mount)

2. Temporarily loosen the knurled head screw
and remove the 2 Allen head screws
on the projector post
3. Slide the mount underneath the
knurled head screw and washer
and secure it.

4. Secure the mount by reinstalling and
tightening the Allen head screws

5. Use the crank at the projector arm to
adjust the height of the projector.

6. Use the two socket head jack screws
to adjust the side-to-side tilt of the projector.
Tightening the right screw raises the right
side of the projector and tightening the left
screw raises the left side of the projector.
7. If, in case of a mobile application, the
projector needs to be pushed sideways to
allow for the stand to t through a door
opening, loosen the knurled head screw
at the bottom of the mount and push the
mount and projector parallel to the board.
8. At the place of presentation reposition the
mount and projector in its initial position
and secure the knurled head screw.

Attach the projector arm and mount to the
system. Adjust the projector. Finally fix the
handwheel.
To swing the projector, to be able to move the
system through a door loosen the handwheel at
the top of the mount a little. Remove the
handwheel at the bottom side of the mount.
You can now push the mount sideward. Do not
touch the projector while moving the mount in
order not to readjust the picture by accident. Fix
the projector in the new position by using the
handwheel on top of the mount. After having
passed the door, you can move the projector
back to operating position. Attach the handwheel
at the bottom side of the mount again. You do
not have to adjust the picture new.

Adjusting the spring tension
During installation, the spring-tension mechanism is secured in its lowest position.

After installation is complete and both board and projector have been mounted

the mount has to be balanced to the total weight of the conguration.

To balance the system the spring tension needs to be adjusted.

CAUTION
The springs in the height adjustable unit can store a large amount of energy;
use care when assembling, installing and adjusting.
DO NOT remove the locking pin to raise the assembly without rst installing the board
and projector

Before adjusting the spring tension:
1. apply downward force to the board
2. release the locking pin
3. release the board slowly

If the board comes down, spring tension has to be increased,
if the board starts moving up, spring tension has to be decreased.

This is accomplished by using a 17 mm ratchet to turn the screw located on the right hand
side of the spring-ension mechanism. Turn clockwise to increase the tension,
turn counter-clockwise to decrease the tension.

Adjust tension such that the board stays in the same position when moved up/down and
released and such that the system moves up and down with little operator effort.
