HOJA INFORMATIVA PARA EL ALUMNADO 2 ESO CURSO 2013-2014
I. SISTEMA DE EVALUACIN
Se realizarn 2 exmenes trimestrales, para los que se establecer hora y da, y todos los controles de vocabulario, verbos,
frasessin previo aviso que el profesor/a considere oportunos. No olvides que la EVALUACIN ES CONTINUA, lo que implica que
cada examen engloba todo lo estudiado desde el comienzo de curso hasta el momento del examen y cada examen sirve de
recuperacin del anterior. Puesto que la nota de exmenes es slo el 70% de la calificacin trimestral, ningn alumno podr
aprobar la asignatura SLO Y EXCLUSIVAMENTE CON EL LTIMO EXAMEN. Hay que trabajar desde el primer da!
Los exmenes constarn de las siguientes partes:
Gramtica y Vocabulario (Use of English)
Comprensin del texto (Reading)
Comprensin auditiva (Listening)
Redaccin (Writing)
Expresin oral (Speaking)
Recuerda que los EXMENES REPRESENTAN UN 70% DE TU NOTA FINAL Y EL 30% RESTANTE SE BASAR EN TU
TRABAJO DE CLASE, REALIZACIN DE TAREAS, ASISTENCIA A CLASE, INTERS, COMPORTAMIENTO Por tanto, para aprobar la
asignatura ser necesario:
Realizar Tarea en casa. Se revisar diariamente.
Trabajo de clase. Se supervisar diariamente.
Participar en clase y en las actividades propuestas por el departamento.
Realizar trabajos obligatorios y optativos.
Tener buen comportamiento y mostrar inters por la asignatura.
Realizar exmenes orales y escritos.
Tambin podrs leer libros en ingls para mejorar tu nota.
El alumnado que no supere el curso en la convocatoria de junio, deber presentarse a la convocatoria de septiembre.
II. RECUPERACIN DE CURSOS ANTERIORES
En caso de que el alumno no supere la convocatoria de septiembre, deber recuperar la asignatura en el curso siguiente realizando
las actividades propuestas y presentndose a los exmenes establecidos por el Departamento de Ingls. La entrega del
cuadernillo de actividades ser OBLIGATORIA para poder optar al examen. Esto te ayudar a repasar los contenidos
estudiados durante el curso anterior. Debers realizarlas con atencin. Para repasar tienes el cuaderno del ao anterior y
puedes preguntar cualquier duda a tu profesor/a. Debers entregar las actividades antes del 8 de noviembre. Cuando las tengas
terminadas, entrgaselas a tu profesor/a. No lo dejes para el final.
El da 18 de febrero (martes) a las 18,00 tendr lugar un examen con los mismos ejercicios que has realizado en las fichas.
El 13 de mayo (martes) habr un nuevo examen para los alumnos que no hayan aprobado el del 18 de febrero.
En caso de NO superar ninguna de estas pruebas, el/la alumno/a deber presentarse a la prueba extraordinaria de septiembre.

Diccionario de bolsillo (8x12cm aproximadamente) Se recomienda traerlo a clase TODOS LOS DAS Editoriales
recomendadas: Collins Gem, Oxford, Larousse, Longman. Precio orientativo: 9,00
Cuaderno a eleccin del alumno. Deber estar perfectamente ordenado y presentable con nombre, apellidos y curso en la
portada.
Fundas folio para guardar las fotocopias que se entreguen o que se recomienden para su compra. Cada hoja deber
llevar la fecha, el nombre y estar numerada.
Libros de lectura a determinar a lo largo del curso. (Para ello usaremos libros del Departamento de Ingls o de la
Biblioteca)

IX. SI YO FUERA ALUMNO/A
No faltara a clase a no ser por extrema necesidad y, en caso de faltar, comunicara al profesor el motivo de la
falta y adems me informara de lo que se ha tratado en clase el da en que yo he faltado y recuperara los apuntes.
Recuerda que debes ensear el justificante de tus faltas. Las FALTAS y RETRASOS injustificados bajarn tu
nota.
Por lo menos una vez por semana dedicara un tiempo a estudiar la materia de esa semana.
Estudiara el vocabulario y los verbos a diario y NO la noche antes del examen.
Preparara los exmenes intentando comprender todo, practicando con ejercicios, repasando el vocabulario.
Escuchara todo el ingls que pudiera: en casa, de camino al colegio o a clase
Participara en clase:
o corrigiendo la tarea.
o preguntando lo que no entendiera.
o hablando en ingls
o respetando el trabajo de los dems
o participando en los dilogos y teatrillos
o me dirigira al profesor con respeto
o ira completando mi cuaderno poco a poco y ste estara limpio y claro.
o controlara mis ganas de broma y de juego en clase

Sabes por qu es difcil aprender palabras en ingls?
1) Para un hispanohablante, la gran mayora de las palabras en ingls son sonidos ininteligibles que no
significan absolutamente nada. Si la palabra nueva te resulta familiar solo se puede deber a dos motivos: es
una palabra de origen latino o la has escuchado en los medios de comunicacin.
Recuerda: Dado que el ingls es un idioma de origen germnico, muy alejado del espaol, no se asimila un
nuevo sonido hasta que no se repite unas diez, a veinte veces, hablando. Algunas palabras incluso tienen
que llegar a repetirse unas cien veces para que se queden grabadas en la memoria.
2) Hay, al menos, dos tipos de vocabularios. El vocabulario del ingls hablado y el del ingls escrito. Esto
quiere decir que hay palabras que lees pero que no se suelen usar en ingls hablado y palabras que escuchas
pero que no se suelen escribir. Las palabras de ingls hablado son las ms difciles de aprender porque una
gran mayora no son de origen latino; son "phrasal verbs", o palabras de origen germnico.
Recuerda: Es mejor empezar aprendiendo el vocabulario del ingls hablado ya que ser el que ms vas a
necesitar en el da a da.
3) El nmero de palabras que hay que aprender para hablar con cierta fluidez ronda las tres mil. Aprender
tres mil palabras es difcil y toma tiempo, por tanto, necesitaremos determinacin a prueba de fuego.
Recuerda: Para incrementar tu vocabulario, determinacin a prueba de fuego; esto significa planificacin y
constancia.
4) Por cada palabra, hay que aprender "pronunciacin" y "deletreo" (spelling). Si no sabes escribir una
palabra, no importa demasiado porque siempre puedes buscarla en un diccionario, pero si no sabes
pronunciarla realmente no sabes esa palabra.
Recuerda: Solo puedes decir que sabes una palabra si puedes pronunciarla y colocarla correctamente en una
frase. Consejo: Bscate ahora mismo alguien para hablar.
Cmo superaremos todas estas barreras?
Slo hay una manera: con mucha determinacin y un buen mtodo. Suponiendo que ya tenemos la
determinacin, veamos los mtodos.
Una de las mejores maneras de aprender vocabulario es viendo pelculas en ingls con subttulos. Ves la
imagen, escuchas cmo suena y ves cmo se escribe.
Ni que decir tiene que otra fantstica manera de aprender vocabulario es cantando.
Otra buena frmula es hablando. Cuando no sabes cmo decir algo, la necesidad de comunicarte te lleva a
buscar las palabras que necesitas para expresarte. As que piensa durante el da frases en espaol y piensa
cmo las diras en ingls. Si tienes dudas pregunta a un profesor.
Otra forma eficaz de incrementar tu vocabulario es leyendo. La gran ventaja de la lectura es que
aprendes las nuevas palabras en un contexto determinado. La desventaja es que no sabes cmo suena la
palabra. Por ello, la lectura debe combinarse siempre con prcticas de conversacin. Tambin son buenos
los audio-books para leer y escuchar al mismo tiempo.
Por ltimo, se aprende vocabulario estudiando y echando mano de todos los recursos que tenemos a
mano: diccionarios, internet,trucos para memorizar, juegos, crucigramas (crosswords), el ahorcado
(hangman), leyendo las noticias en ingls, etc
Cmo recordar vocabulario nuevo?
1. Traduciendo la palabra a tu idioma. Por ejemplo: coche car (ingls).
2. Describindola en espaol. Por ejemplo: vehculo con motor y de cuatro ruedas para transportar
personas.
3. Haciendo un dibujo.
4. Ponindola en contexto. Por ejemplo: Mi coche se ha estropeado y tengo que llevarlo al taller.
5. Colocndola dentro de un grupo lxico. Por ejemplo: coche, camin, moto, etc.
