CBE Upcoming Events
There were 14 presentations to 14 BUSX 301 course sections from March 3 through March 28. The time
range for the project was supposed to be from March 3 through March 14. However, due to some snow
days, presentations for professor Thackers sections had not been finished until the end of the week of
March 24.
Before Presentations:
Contact BUSX 301 professors through e-mail and personal communication to confirm
presentation date
Used BUSX 301 schedule and SCs Spring 2014 work schedule to arrange one presenter for each
section
Updated information and format of presentation
o Used Towson background for the presentation
o Consult with Ms. Lisa Michocki for upcoming events
o Sent the final presentation to Ms. Heather McComas for review
Updated Online Resource handout
Each SC practiced the presentation by themselves
During Presentations:
One SC was assigned to present to each section
Online Resources handouts were distributed before each presentation
Answer questions that students had during the presentation
o Most of questions were about Academic Planners, BUSX 460 and MNGT 481.
After Presentations:
Each SC discussed with BUSX 301 professors individually to get feedback for their performance.
Project leader requested feedback from SCs about what went well and what needs to be
improved and suggestion.

What went well?
Good work with coordinating schedule and planning for the project
Students asked questions and took notes about BUSX 460, MNGT 481, Academic Planners
BUSX 301 professors replied in timely manner during scheduling process
Handouts are helpful since students did not have to write down the links for MNGT 481
Comprehensive Exam Topics
BUSX 301 professors were helpful in making clarification that students may need
What needs to be improved and suggestions?
There should be a handout for CBE upcoming events and one for BUSX 460 information sessions

Project leader(s) should request evaluation from professor after each presentation
o We could have a form to give to professors to leave evaluation and comment about
each presentation
Presentation should include a slide about student involvement and screenshot about steps to
apply for graduation
Make sure to bring enough and correct handouts to the presentation
Presentation should be more engaging to students, make them to be more interactive during
the presentation
Send an electronic copy of handout to professors so they can post it to classs blackboard site
Make sure the hyperlinks work well with the presentation.
