Strong National Infrastructure backbone is an essential foundation for economic growth.
Public Private Partnership (PPP) is an internationally proven model for procuring and pursuing infrastructure development projects and should be utilised alongside wholly private sector platforms.
There is an opportunity to create Worldwide Infrastructure (WWi) a British internationally based Infrastructure Development Company a company to spearhead international projects (including but not limited to those created using the PPP structure); for the development, promotion and facilitation of key infrastructural Mega Projects around the world.
Key features of the company will include:
- Platforms underneath WWi with sector specific infrastructure mandates - Public Private participation to be one of the structures utilised - Globally recognised banking partners - Strategic relationships with International best in class contractors - Leveraging best in class resources and skills - Strong commercial and political networks
The WWi company structure will create value in the company itself; in addition, multiple companies can be created, appealing to different classes of Infrastructure project.

CHALLENGES
Although governments are regarded as being responsible for the provision of infrastructure in their respective countries, the private sector (as a benefactor of the infrastructure itself), can and should play a supportive role. Governments alone; with limited financial resources, are forced to take a piecemeal approach to infrastructure project identification and execution. Solutions to the infrastructural challenges faced by governments around the globe, must; - Enable Mega infrastructure projects facing; political, logistical, conceptual, technical, regulatory and capital constraints (exacerbated by the financial crisis) - Expand the use of the PPP model, currently restricted in many developing countries to politically and strategically in-sensitive projects - Enable regular monitoring of project progress
PROPOSED SOLUTIONS
The creation of WWi, an Infrastructure Development Company, which will partner with governments (under, amongst other structures PPP) or with local government supported corporations; will help to facilitate and in many cases trigger, a comprehensive infrastructure rollout for selected countries of interest. The adoption of the PPP model as a strategic option (amongst other models) and long term solution for facilitating the procurement and deliverance of core infrastructure assets and/or public services to the community. WWi will, based on the model employed; act as the governments program advisor, program manager, facilitator of finance, introducer of best in class International contractors (by sector); who will; conceptualise, develop, structure, execute and, in some cases, manage infrastructure projects. The proposed solutions would accelerate and enlarge the scope of the infrastructure development in the selected countries in which WWI will operate and enable meeting the long term needs of sustained economic growth.

WWi Business Ideology United We Stand - Divided We Fall
WWis core ideology is elemental in the intended objectives of the company and in the components which make up the companys Engine for Success and will be instrumental in the corporate structure and modus operandi of the company when in operation.
WWi understands that we live in a world where the developing countries (like those in Africa, MENA, Asia), are arguably relatively weak in structure, performance and output; but are also rich in economic potential (with largely un-tapped, easily accessible natural resources and low local labour costs); whilst those more developed countries can be, despite their wealth, lacking in certain efficiencies and natural resources, (with largely exhausted, easily accessible domestic natural resources and high local labour costs). With this in mind, it is clear how countries can benefit from a business model which is focused on trading strengths for weaknesses on an international scale. WWi believes that no country in the global society of states can be defined as being without weakness. Efficiency is the solution, the more efficiency we can create, the more powerful our business model will be; utilising the resources of our corporate platforms in conjunction with the resources of where that platform is established in a harmonious and complementary way; allowing WWi to efficiently trade strengths for weaknesses, whilst remaining inventive with the perspective taken on the perceived positive and negative features of any one particular territory.

Indeed, WWi believes that factual information and professionalism go hand-in-hand, creating a concrete foundation, on which; the building blocks of projects can be placed. Avoiding questionable information is a cornerstone of success; where correct information to base assumptions on, represents 80% of the success factors to be accounted for in any one project.

In this respect, WWi will employ and serve alongside individuals who have a high Emotional Quotient (EQ), as well as Intelligence Quotient (IQ), and thus very good Emotional Intelligence.
