1) SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Please make sure to be online when installing to make sure the latest requiremen
ts are taken in to consideration.

2) INSTALLING THE LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT SOFTWARE
Before you install LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT Software, please uninstall any previous v
ersion installed.
Administrator privileges are required when installing the LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT So
ftware.
Microsoft Windows
To install the Software run "Autorun.exe" on the CD-ROM and follow the on-screen
instructions.
When installed you may need to restart your system. When the system has been res
tarted, double click the MINDSTORMS NXT Software icon on your desktop. This will
start the LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT Software.
Apple Macintosh
To install the Software double-click "Install" on the DVD and follow the on-scre
en instructions.
When installed select Applications->LEGO Mindstorms NXT and click Mindstorms NXT
. This will start the LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT Software.
The first time you start the LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT Software may take a couple of m
inutes. The start-up time will decrease the next time you launch the application
.
3) UNINSTALLING THE LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT SOFTWARE
Microsoft Windows XP
Click Start from the Windows task bar, go to All Programs->LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT->
Uninstall LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT.
Alternatively, click Start from the Windows task bar, go to Settings->Control Pa
nel, Add/Remove Programs, and click Remove for each LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT items. F
ollow the on-screen instructions.
Microsoft Windows Vista
Click Start from the Windows task bar, go to All Programs->LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT->
Uninstall LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT.
Alternatively, click Start from the Windows task bar, go to Control Panel, Unins
tall a program and click each of the LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT items. Follow the on-sc
reen instructions.
Microsoft Windows 7
Click Start from the Windows task bar, go to All Programs->LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT->
Uninstall LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT.

Drag LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT Software folder from Applications to the Trash Can to u
