Answer
Reboot the machine in Safe Mode, then log on as Administrator. The password is often left blank. You
can now set the password for any or all of the other users. The next thing is to plan ahead: Click
Start / Help, then look for help on "password". Follow the instructions to create a keyle on your
USB ash disk so that you will never again end up in this awkward situation.

Method 1: Reset Windows password using CMD
Step 1: Logon your Windows as administrator(You also can logon Safe Mode with
Command Prompt, pressing F8 when restart your computer, hit up/down key to choose
Safe Mode with Command Prompt and hit Enter).
Step 2: Click on Start, type cmd in the Run box or Search box and press Enter.
Step 3: Type net user, all user accounts of your computer will be listed.
Step 4: Type net user "UserName" "NewPassword"(replace UerName and NewPassword
with yours), press Enter, then the password will be reset as new one and you can logon
Windows Vista with it.
Method 2: Reset WIndows 7 password with Windows password reset disk
Here is the steps to reset Windows 7 password with password reset disk, bypassing
Windows Vista/XP password is the same as this:
Step 1: Login Windows 7 with a incorrect password, it will show you a link "Reset
Password.." under the password box.
Step 2: Insert your password reset disk, click the link, When a password reset wizard
appears, click Next.
Step 3: Choose the drive name from the pull-down list, click Next.
Step 4: Type a new password in the new password box, and type it again to conrm it.
Click NextFinish. Then you can login Windows 7 again with the new password.
hi,guys! The methods you said have limitation;
Reset Windows 7 login password with CMD requires another admin account which you can login.
A Windows 7 password reset disk must be created before you lost the password. Because we need to
login that account to create it.
Maybe a Windows 7 installation CD can oer a CMD exe for password reset, I havn't tested it.

I have read your PDF completely and I am confused by one thing. I have Windows 7 Home Premium and
you say in your PDF to do the following: Click Start Menu on pretty much most of your advice in order to
x this issue. Pardon me, but how do I gain access to my Start Menu if I cannot log in to access my desk
top? If you would please help me with this I would be very grateful. I do not have a reset disc nor do I
remember if I have ever enabled the administrator password thingee. Thank you for your help.

There is two methods to reset windows login password:
Methods 1: Use the password reset disk to recover the Windows password, by this methods, you need
create a Windows password reset disk before you have lost or forgotten your Windows admin password.
