NOTICE
Subject:-Civil Services (Main) Examination-2013 - communication of the
findings of the Medical Examination regarding.
The candidates whose names are mentioned in the Annexure-I, have
been declared unfit for all services/for Police Services/for Railways
service/Technical Service/ for IRTS/ for IRTS & RPF by the medical board at
various Hospitals on account of the reason(s) mentioned against their names.
These candidates are informed that as per the provisions of CSE Rules, if they
are not satisfied with the findings of the medical board, they can make an appeal
against the findings before this Department in the format as given at Annexure-
II. The following points may kindly be noted while making appeal:-
a. The appeal should be preferred within 21 days from the date of this notice
failing which it will be presumed that the candidate(s) is/are not
interested in filing the appeal. Appeal received after 21 days of issue of
this notice will not be considered. However, the candidates are advised
to file the appeal, if they so desire, as early as possible so that their
re-medical examination may be held at an early date and service
allocation could be completed prior to the commencement of
Foundation Course w.e.f 1.9.2014.
b. The appeal should be accompanied by a fee of Rs.100/-. The fee should
be paid by demand draft in favor of PAO, department of Personnel &
Training drawn on a bank in Delhi/New Delhi. The fee is refundable if
you are not found fit by the Appellate Medical Board. Along with the
appeal, a Medical Certificate in the prescribed Proforma (Annexure-II)
from a specialist in support of your claim that there is an error in the
judgment of the findings of the medical Board and that you are fit, be
enclosed.
c. It is made clear that the Appellate Medical Board would conduct the
medical examination only if your appeal has been received in the office
within the stipulated time.
d. The medical examination by the Appellate Medical Board will be at your
own cost. There is to say if any amount is to be paid to the Hospital in
connection with your medical examination, the same shall be paid by you
direct to the Hospital.
e. Please note that the findings of the Appellate Medical Board will be final.
3. In case, a candidate agrees with findings of Central Standing Medical
Board (CSMB) and he/she does not wish to appeal against the findings of
CSMB, he/she may intimate the same also in writing immediately to this
Department.
4. Besides of the above, some candidates have been declared Temporary
Unfit due to the reason mentioned against their names These candidates are
requested to submit a fitness certificate within 6 months from the date of their
medical examination. If, any candidate is declared fit by a Doctor, he may
submit a fitness certificate to this Department by registered post/speed post for
further necessary action. A scan copy of fitness certificate may be sent through
e-mail in advance so that the Hospital may be requested to assign a date for
medical examination.
4. All communication should be addressed to the undersigned by the name
by Registered/Speed Post/E-mail indicating the latest address of the candidate
and Roll number assigned to him/her by UPSC. For updates on Medical
Examination Results, Service Allocation, and any kind of verification,
candidates are advised to visit this Department's website http://persmin/gov.in.
