Do you struggle with believing GOD the Father loves you every bit as much as He loves His Son? JESUS
CHRIST in John 16:27 declared for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and believed that I
came forth from GOD. Knowing the Fathers love strengthens our faith and enables us to trust GOD even in times
of extreme need and desperate helplessness. We will also learn to pray in faith and learn to turn everything over to
Him; - our finances, sinful habits, heath problems, family situations, ministry challenges, stress and problems on our
jobs, etc. We are reminded by the Apostle Paul in Romans 10:17 that Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the
Word of GOD. As we equip ourselves with, and trust the Word of GOD, our faith will grow amazingly stronger.
Regularly attending the Sunday Bible Study Fellowship, will enable you to witness the practical applications of the
Word of GOD in the lives of other believers. Today start to adjust your schedule so you can attend regularly. Also
invite your neighbors, relatives, friends, co-workers, unbelievers and de-churched believers to join us in Sunday
Bible Study Fellowship at 9:30 AM.
The Sunday School Teachers and Co-Workers will hold their Monthly Prayer Meeting on August 17
th

at 9 AM in the Pastors Office.

Praise the Lord! I am writing this the day after VBS ends. We had an awesome week; God truly blessed us.
We had an average of 12 children, with Wednesday being our high of 22. The team was great. Thank you to
everyone who participated! Praise God for the children, the workers and the great weather we had all week.
Our next event is the Back to School Carnival on August 9
th
. We need help setting up from 9:00 11:00,
working games from 10:45-2:00, and cleaning up from 1:45-3:00. There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board or
see Diane Pine to volunteer.
During this time of change at Salem stand firm in your faith and remember Some trust in chariots and some
in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. Psalm 20:7

be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, so that you may walk worthy of
the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God. Colossians

At the end of June we traveled to the Windermere Conference center and attended AreaOne Christian Camp.
I was amazed and pleased with the way our teenagers were introduced to the gospel and by the knowledge they were
given on how to live out their faith. That week was a true life changing event and I want to thank everyone who
helped make this trip possible. Know that your support helped introduce teenagers to the gospel of Jesus Christ and
led to many young men and women to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ.
Summer is nearly over and many teenagers are about to begin a new year in their middle and high school
journey. I ask that you continue to keep our young men and women in your prayers as they step back into one of the
greatest mission fields they will ever have, their schools.
