PROVEN ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Team Builder/Leader: Each individual education site was required to earn certified accreditation,
demonstrating student academic proficiency. Directed team to gather data and designed a blueprint to
ensure accreditation. RESULT: After applying the designed blueprint into action, the site earned
accreditation.

Coach: The school was required to release 75% of teaching staff and hire new teachers. The school
needed to continue improvement of scores with a staff made up of 60% first/second year teachers.
Result: Coached new staff in teaching methodologies, to improve student outcomes, moving the school
into higher proficiency status.
Design/Create: Instructional delivery needed to improve to move school out of warning status for school
improvement by increasing student learning. A self-evaluation matrix was designed, in conjunction with
video recording teachers, for delivery of lessons for teacher improvement. Result: 25% of staff
participated in program resulting in improved test scores bringing the school into state compliance and
out of warning status
Collaborate: A new curriculum was designed for five different sites to produce increased outcomes.
Collaboration was with all levels of employees to produce one design to be used across all sites.
Productivity increased as transferring students within the district did not require extra time for unlearned
skills.
Project Management: The budget for Title 1 needed to be increased to meet educational demand of the
school. A method was devised to increase the number of students qualifying and registering for free and
reduced lunch. Result: The Title 1 budget increased from under $200,000 in 2002 to over $250,000 (25%
increase) in 2007.
Training: By state law over 60 certified employees needed to complete training and earn an
endorsement in ELL (English Language Learners) or face termination. After earning certification to teach
the curriculum, a training schedule was created for employees. RESULT: At the end of the course 100%
of the certified staff earned the endorsement for certification.
