Read Instructions: The Owners Manual should be read and understood before operation
of your unit. Please, save these instructions for future reference and heed all warnings.
Clean only with dry cloth.
Packaging: Keep the box and packaging materials, in case the unit needs to be
returned for service.
Warning: To reduce the risk or fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or
moisture. Do not use this apparatus near water!
Warning: When using electric products, basic precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
Power Sources
Your unit should be connected to a power source only of the voltage specified in the
owners manual or as marked on the unit. This unit has a polarized plug. Do not use
with an extension cord or receptacle unless the plug can be fully inserted. Precau-
tions should be taken so that the grounding scheme on the unit is not defeated. An
apparatus with CLASS I construction shall be connected to a Mains socket outlet with
a protective earthing ground. Where the MAINS plug or an appliance coupler is used
as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.
Hazards
Do not place this product on an unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket or table. The
product may fall, causing serious personal injury and serious damage to the product.
Use only with cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table recommended by the manufacturer
or sold with the product. Follow the manufacturers instructions when installing the
product and use mounting accessories recommended by the manufacturer. Only use
attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer
Note: Prolonged use of headphones at a high volume may cause
health damage on your ears.
The apparatus should not be exposed to dripping or splashing water; no objects
filled with liquids should be placed on the apparatus.
Terminals marked with the lightning bolt are hazardous live; the external wiring
connected to these terminals require installation by an instructed person or the use of
ready made leads or cords.
Ensure that proper ventilation is provided around the appliance. Do not install near
any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus
(including amplifiers) that produce heat.
No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus.
Power Cord
Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug
has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a
third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the
provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the
obsolete outlet. The AC supply cord should be routed so that it is unlikely that it will be
damaged. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs. If
the AC supply cord is damaged DO NOT OPERATE THE UNIT. To completely disconnect
this apparatus from the AC Mains, disconnect the power supply cord plug from the AC
receptacle. The mains plug of the power supply cord shall remain readily operable.
Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
Service
The unit should be serviced only by qualified service personnel. Servicing is required
when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is
damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus
has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

Attention: Lors de lutilisation de produits lectrique, assurez-vous dadhrer des
prcautions de bases incluant celle qui suivent:
Alimentation
Lappareil ne doit tre branch qu une source dalimentation correspondant au
voltage spcifi dans le manuel ou tel quindiqu sur lappareil. Cet appareil est quip
dune prise dalimentation polarise. Ne pas utiliser cet appareil avec un cordon de
raccordement moins quil soit possible dinsrer compltement les trois lames. Des
prcautions doivent tres prises afin deviter que le systme de mise la terre de
lappareil ne soit dsengag. Un appareil construit selon les normes de CLASS I
devrait tre raccord une prise murale dalimentation avec connexion intacte de mise
la masse. Lorsquune prise de branchement ou un coupleur d'appareils est utilise
comme dispositif de dbranchement, ce dispositif de dbranchement devra demeurer
pleinement fonctionnel avec raccordement la masse.
Risque
Ne pas placer cet appareil sur un chariot, un support, un trpied ou une table instables.
Lappareil pourrait tomber et blesser quelquun ou subir des dommages importants.
Utiliser seulement un chariot, un support, un trpied ou une table recommands par le
fabricant ou vendus avec le produit. Suivre les instructions du fabricant pour installer
lappareil et utiliser les accessoires recommands par le fabricant. Utilisez seulement
les attachements/accessoires indiqus par le fabricant

Assurez que lappareil est fourni de la propre ventilation. Ne procdez pas
linstallation prs de source de chaleur tels que radiateurs, registre de chaleur, fours

Les dispositifs marqus dune symbole dclair sont des parties dangereuses
au toucher et que les cblages extrieurs connects ces dispositifs de
connection extrieure doivent tre effectivs par un oprateur form ou en utilisant
des cordons dj prpars.
Cordon dAlimentation
Ne pas enlever le dispositif de scurit sur la prise polarise ou la prise avec tige de
mise la masse du cordon dalimentation. Une prise polarise dispose de deux lames
dont une plus large que lautre. Une prise avec tige de mise la masse dispose de
deux lames en plus dune troisime tige qui connecte la masse. La lame plus large ou
la tige de mise la masse est prvu pour votre scurit. La prise murale est dsute si
elle nest pas conue pour accepter ce type de prise avec dispositif de scurit. Dans
ce cas, contactez un lectricien pour faire remplacer la prise murale. vitez
dendommager le cordon dalimentation. Protgez le cordon dalimentation. Assurez-
vous quon ne marche pas dessus et quon ne le pince pas en particulier aux prises.
NUTILISEZ PAS LAPPAREIL si le cordon dalimentation est endommag. Pour
dbrancher compltement cet appareil de lalimentation CA principale, dconnectez le
cordon dalimentation de la prise dalimentation murale. Le cordon dalimentation du
bloc dalimentation de lappareil doit demeurer pleinement fonctionnel.
Dbranchez cet appareil durant les orages ou si inutilis pendant de longues priodes.
Service
Consultez un technicien qualifi pour lentretien de votre appareil. L'entretien est
ncessaire quand l'appareil a t endommag de quelque faon que se soit. Par exemple
si le cordon dalimentation ou la prise du cordon sont endommags, si il y a eu du liquide
qui a t renvers lintrieur ou des objets sont tombs dans l'appareil, si l'appareil a t
expos la pluie ou l'humidit, si il ne fonctionne pas normalement, ou a t chapp.

PRODUCTION NOTES
6. Place U10 and U12 aligned on the SIL pad.
No shorts to the heatsink are allowed.
1. RTV must be applied to the following caps: C22,C23,C24,C25,C26,C28,C36,C37,C50.
2. Apply RTV between C22 and C23 as well as between C24 and C25.
3. RTV must be applied to inductor L1.
7. Mount the TO-220 retaining spring as per the diagram below:
NOTE: NUT IS ON TOP!
4. PC8292 for V01 boards only:
Replaced R66 and R68 with #4599 jumpers
Replaced R65 and R67 with #6459 4V7 zener diodes.
Replaced R27 with #4839 150K 1/4W resistor.
5. Apply RTV between C53 and R102 and
bend C53 over R102 as in picture.
