It gives me a pleasure to recommend Mr. Abdul Wadood for a Chinese Government Scholarship. I had
been Abdul Wadoods teacher since his freshman year (fall-2011) for subject Pakistani Society and
Culture. Over the period of his stay at this insitute, I have come to know him extremely well and feel that
he is an outstanding candidate for the Chinese Government Scholarship.

Mr. Abdul Wadood is a truly outstanding student who has accumulated a long list of both academic
achievements and extra-curricular activities. He is one of the few students who was elected as a General
Secretary ( NIPS Society) in his second semester. He is a gifted student who combines serious study with
a genuine concern for the community in which he lives.

I can attest to Mr. Abdul Wadoods maturity and his commitment to his studies. He does his work
conscientiously, he always seeks out course work that challenges him, and he has an amazing capacity for
fulfilling his responsibilities in a great variety of activities. He is organized in his goal-setting, yet has
learned to keep his options open for the future. His accomplishments will no doubt make him a highly
recruited individual for the top graduate colleges in the country.

Intellectually, Mr. Abdul Wadood is one of the very best students I have ever worked with. He has the
ability to carry out research independently, he is extremely disciplined in his work, his analytical skills are
highly developed, and he is always thorough in what he does.

I believe that a year in China would enrich Mr. Abdul Wadood immeasurably from a variety of points of
view. He would be able to learn Chinese language, and polish up his English Language skills. He would
gain invaluable teaching experience, and, perhaps most importantly, he would acquire insights into the
Chinese culture that would greatly enhance his future studies.

I give Mr. Abdul Wadood my highest and unqualified recommendation. He is truly exceptional.

Recommendation of Solangi, Abdul Wadood to Chinese Government Scholarship

I have known Mr. Abdul Wadood for two years, since he was my student in my Geography of
Pakistan and Research Methodology classes during Fall 2011-2013. He had all of the signs of excellence
then and has since matured into a person of intellectual and personal integrity and accomplishment. After
completing an bachelors degree at another University with less rigorous standards, he came to Quaid-i-
Azam University with an intellectual curiosity that blossomed once the opportunity for further and more
extensive study presented itself.
In class his performace was quite satisfactory, he was among the top five students of his semester
and secured 97 out 150 marks in Geography of Pakistan and 115 out 150 marks in Research Mothodology
subjects. During his second semester he also remained a General Secretary of NIPS society and organized
a successful trip and an Annual Departmental Party. I found him very intelectual and cooperative during
his whole period of stay at this Institute.
Personally, I find Abdul Wadood to be an honest, intelligent, articulate person, who is self-
motivated and also demonstrated leadership qualities that are admired by peers and supervisors. I strongly
recommend him to be a Chinese Government Scholarship recipient, and I am happy to amplify on any
