FUMAFIA Overview

fuMafia is a neo-mafia war game in which you can create and build a character. Your purpose is to
grow the most powerful network of mob connections, crush all of your enemies and protect all of you
and your mob's assets. To get there you'll have to commit crimes, enter into frequent battles with other
mobs, launder money, and make wise investments. ith your cash, you can buy weapons, territories,
and other items. hen you begin, you have a mob si!e of only one "or two if you were invited#. Your
character has several vital stats that can be improved that re-generate at various intervals.
Vital Stats

Health
Your health will change as a result of attacking or being attacked. %f your health is too low, you'll be
safe from being attacked by other mobs but will also be unable to initiate attacks on others until your
health is back up above &'(

Energy
Your energy is used to perform missions. More energy is required for more advanced missions, yielding
higher payouts, more e)perience, or other loot. *ometimes missions require using certain equipment or
a minimum mob si!e in order to be accomplished successfully.
Stamina
You must have stamina to attack other mobs. +ach attack that you initiate will decrease your stamina
by one. ,ver time, your stamina will come back.
Cash $
%nitially, cash is earned by completing missions and winning the attacks that you initiate on other mobs.
%f your mob is attacked and your cash is not in the bank, some or all of it may be stolen. %n the
beginning cash does not re-generate, but when you start investing your cash wisely, you may start
earning a cash flow where your money will grow along a regular interval.
Other Important Stats
Mob Size
Your mob si!e is -ust as important as equipment in determining whether you win or lose a battle. The
ma)imum si!e of a mob is ./' but you will only be allowed to bring a certain number of mobsters to a
fight depending on your Mafia 0ating "below#.
Maia !ating
Your mafia rating is your in-game level and increases as you gain e)perience points from successful
missions or attacks. Your mafia rating is very important, as it will determine the ma)imum si!e of your
mob you are allowed to bring with you into a fight. %n the beginning, you can only bring up to / of your
mobsters into a fight to help you. 1dditionally, you receive skill points as your mafia rating increases.
,nce your mafia rating goes beyond &/', an increasing number of mobsters in your mob will be able to
hold one e)tra weapon per mobster. 2or e)ample, at a rating of ./', your mobster will be able to hold
3/'' guns.
S"ill #oints
These are points that you can spend on improving your personal stats. These stats include defense
power "improving your chances when attacked# or to increase your attack power "so that you're more
successful when attacking others#. 1lso, skill points may be used to raise the ceiling on how much total
health, energy, or stamina that your character has. *trategic decisions here can strongly affect your
character and mold the future of your mob character.
Missions
4ommit various unsavory acts and get rewarded with cash payouts, e)perience points, and sometimes
loot5 Missions require energy and some require you to own items and6or have a certain mob si!e before
you are able to accomlish them successfully. 1s your mafia rating increases, more missions will
become available.
$erritory
,wning territories is how you invest your cash if you want cash returns. +ach property will yield a
certain amount of income on a regular interval. 7ifferent investment strategies will yield better results
so make smart investments and be richly rewarded5 1s your mafia rating increases, new territory may
become available for you to purchase.
Favors
ho doesn't like a little bit of help8 You can call in various favors that will help you get a faster start
into the game or get you out of a -am quickly.

%f you come across a mobster in need, you can gift them 9ealth, +nergy, *tamina, or 4ash 2avors.

The bank allows you to keep your hard earned =cough= money safe from being stolen when you are
attacked by others. This bank is a little bit crooked to even associate with the likes of you and doesn't
want to be bothered with anything less than >3','''. The good news is that the bank will keep your
cash safe. The bad news is that the bank will charge you a percentage of your money as a laundering
fee at the time of deposit. ?ank funds are required when you need to visit the hospital because the
hospital doesn't take dirty money.

%t wouldn't be organi!ed crime if a few skulls didn't get cracked every once in a while, right8 You can
attack anybody who is not in your personal mob. hen you attack or are attacked, you bring members
of your personal mob along with you. The number of players that come to your fight is determined by
two things$ 3# your mafia rating and &# your mob si!e. 2or e)ample, if your mafia rating is only one
you can only bring up to five mobsters into battle.
+ach member of your mob counts as e)tra attack or defense depending on whether you were the one
who initiated the fight. %t might greatly help your outcome to buy enough equipment so that each
mobster you bring into a battle has one item of each type "weapons6armor6etc# to use. %n an effort to
keep fights somewhat fair between both the beginner and the advanced players, you may only go to
battle with characters that have the same "or very close# rating as yourself. +ven with these restrictions
in place, you may backhand people of any level $#
The winner of the attack "either the attacker or the defender# will have e)perience applied to their
player. ith e)perience comes player rating "or level# increases
Hit *ist
Blain and simple, the 9it Cist is a means by which you may arrange for the death of another player's
character by offering up a bounty to whomever finishes the kill. hen you're hit-listed, the hospital can
offer your character no protection from its inevitable death. To hit-list another player, simply click the
:1dd to 9itlist: button found on his or her profile to put everything into motion.
E+,ipment
+quipment is required to carry out some missions. More importantly, equipment gives your personal
mob the tools it needs when going into battle. Try to buy enough equipment for each allowable mob
member you take into battle so that they have the tools they need to win. Blease note that some of the
higher-end equipment will have an upkeep cost that gets applied against your cash flow for every pay-
out interval. 1s your mafia rating increases, more equipment will become available for you to purchase.
Hospital
The hospital is a place of healing. hen your health is too low to fight, you may e)change money to
boost your health by small amounts in e)change for cash that you have in the bank. You must have a
bank account to use the services of the hospital because they only take clean "laundered# money.
$,rs
Turfs are special places in fuMafia that you may -oin to hang out and chat with other players. Turfs
have a hierarchy of power that goes as follows$ ?oss, Anderboss, Cieutenant, *oldier, and 1ssociate.
%t's a personal decision that you must make whether or not to -oin a turf. Doining a turf is not required. 1
couple things to consider before -oining a turf$
Turf membership involves a variable cut of most your fighting and mission profits that go to mafia turf
ta).
%f your position in the turf is *oldier or higher, you will be allowed to claim a percentage of these ta)es
for yourself.
You may find turfs to -oin by clicking the E?rowse TurfsF button on your fuMafia homepage. %f you
would like to start your own turf instead, you may do so by completing the E?uild 1nd 0un a TurfF
mission.
$,r -ars
Turf wars are a new way for turfs to establish dominance over one another in fuMafia. Two turfs may
enter into agreement to brawl with one another for &/ minutes straight.
To arrange a turf war, you must first be the ?oss or Anderboss of a turf. Then, when you visit another
turf you will see a :4hallenge this turf to war5: button at the top of the enemy turf. hen you click the
button you'll be taken to a scheduling screen to select day G time. Apon confirmation, a notice will
appear in both turf feeds. The ?oss or Anderboss of the enemy turf may choose to accept or re-ect the
challenge which will also be reflected in on both turf feeds.
The following special rules in effect when you're at war with another turf$

Boint blank, racketeering is a chance for specific turfs to gain a temporary advantage over other turfs by
awarding them partial ownership in the banking, health care, and other industries.
9ere is how it works$ 1 set number of new commodities will be added into fuMafia. 2or bank and
hospital commodities, each fuMafia player will have their choice of which bank to use for laundering
their money and which hospital to use for healing. 1 turf boss will be able to pull a number from a
lottery style system to bid on one "and only one# of the available commodities. Apon winning a
commodity, some of the profits will begin funneling into the winning turf's ta), allowing ranking
members of the turf to claim significantly higher bonuses for the duration that the partial ownership is
in effect. hen the default hospital and bank are un-owned, they will continue to operate normally. 1ll
other new commodities will go into a state of non-operation unless they are owned by a turf.
*ome of these new establishments may operate differently than players are familiar. 2or e)ample, there
could be different heal price6health points combinations between hospitals. ?anks might have alternate
laundering fee costs. ,ptionally, the new commodities may be password-protected as to control who,
outside of the turf, has access to the commodity for whatever reason or purpose that the owning turf
should decide.
To enter the rackeering lottery click the 'Cottery' menu option in the main fuMafia menu bar. ,nce your
turf controls a particular racket, both boss and underboss may find new settings in the Turf *ettings
menu if there are settings that can be ad-usted.

- Apon winning a racket, the duration it is kept for is now 01<7,M "3&-&K# hours5
+)piration and Cottery win times are going to be all over the place. The important thing to
remember is that you cannot win a racket until it has been unowned for at least four hours. Your
entry will continue to sit until the racket is eligible for drawing.

Bartial ownership of a commodity is won for a random time frame between 3& and &K hours. Your
protected time from would be half of the fore-mentioned random time frame "L-3& hours, respectively#.
7uring the protected period of time, your turf should be able to hold on to the commodity with no
problems. 1fter this time, the commodity may be released back into the lottery system if "and only if#
all of the highest ranking members "all Cieutenants, the Anderboss, and the ?oss# of the turf are all
dead simultaneously.
<,T+$ %f the commodity is released pre-maturely by way of turf officer deaths, the drawing wait time
of KQ hours will be waived and the commodity will be given out during the very ne)t lottery drawing.

3. hat browser to use$
You will hear several opinions on this topic and ours is -ust one of them. e have
tried every one available all with some success and all with some frustration. e
have researched this topic to the point of obsession and the bottom line is ;oogle
4hrome consistently wins the ?rowser ;rand Bri) and by far is the one we have
had the most success with R what you choose to use is your choice there is no
wrong or right answer. ,ne suggestion, on some type of regular basis clean your
hard drive of temp files and clear your browsers history, cache etc. %f we are
bounty hunting all day we do it at least H times a day and we use *ystem
Mechanic. You can try the full version free for H' days and after that you still
have access to the basic functions to clean your pc
&. Mob up as quick as possible R first and foremost request from each member of our
turf then go to friends and family turfs, but do the work yourself do not put your
link in their feed and ask them to mob you up, no one likes a la!y person. ,nce a
day go to the new players and request from everyone level & and above, we say
level & and above because it means they are active and need mob members as
well. 1nother method is go to attack and then random attack R everyone that
appears on that list is not in your mob so send them a request they will accept
cause they need mob members as well. You can do that over and over again. ,ne
player was able to get NK& mob members in HL hours, its not the difficult
H. eapons, 1rmor G Pehicles
1s far as the generally available items are concerned, always maintain the best
defense and offense of each item. To determine how many of each item you
will require it is your level = / "ie. %f you are a level &' you will need at least
3'' of each of the best items#. e recommend you have some e)tra of each
item so you do not have to ad-ust your equipment each time you level.
Bay attention to when new equipment becomes available so you always have
the best equipment available. Ander each item in ?uy6*ell it displays what
level the ne)t piece of equipment becomes available
other standard items only maintain those that are required to complete missions
if you do not need an item and you are paying upkeep on it then sell it
tanks R build 3'-&/ as they are needed for a future mission. 3' are needed for a
future mission plus most players donSt build them so they give you a great
advantage on attack
blast shelters build up to level 3/' R you will need .&' in total its a must
once the option to reinforce a blast shelter is available reinforce your blast
shelters your goal is to have .&' reinforced blast shelters prior to level 3/'
if you have a merc upgrade M3L's when available, no merc than upgrade 3'
shotguns a day when they come available. %f you are upgrading shotguns it is
recommended that you park at level /' and upgrade ./' shot guns R 3' can be
upgraded every day H' can be built if you move to the weapons racket turf.

a ma) of &'''' before this attack and defense don't really come into play move
them up with what every skill points you have left.

available when you hit level 3/'. 1t level 3/' you start receiving 3''' energy
every time you level R that amount will not change ever - you can continue to
increase your energy but the only bonus you get is when you get the login bonus
every day. 1nother reason to increase this is if you intend to bling your player. %f
you donSt know what bling is its is purchasing credits with your credit card to
move your player ahead faster. %f you choose to bling do yourself a favor wait till
you have at least H''' ma) energy and bling while you are in eturf "discussed
below# so you get double your ma) which is already doubled cause you are in
eturf
L. Missions
-ust slowly do missions one at a time do not mission -ump R again for the most
part the only thing of value that you will see prior to level 3/' is from achieving
the 7iamond

do not worry about losses they mean nothing to your player or the turf
if it moves on the hit list try to kill it R any bounty is available its who gets the last
hit in. e had a level 3/L collect a /.Otrl bounty from a level &'K.
if a player has been on the hit list for more than L-. minutes chances are they are
trying for there bullet proof badge. Cet them go you will only waste stamina and
potentially get their turf mad and get you hit listed
once a player has been on for an hour R go for it they have their badge

N. 0etaliation
if you are attacked -ust let it go its part of the game R if you are attacked over and
over again R donSt worry your turf will take care of it
if you are put on the hit list again let it go its part of the game and your turf will
take care of it
if someone is abusive to you in your inbo) or *? bring it to the attention of any
member of management in your turf R they will take care of it
O. 9ospital
%t is a necessary evil you need health to play R % firmly believe choose the highest
available hospital for your player and always try to health up when you reach
under .'( of your ma). 2or e)ample if your ma) health is 3''' then you want
the 3''' hospital if available. %f your health drops below .'' health up. %f you
do it at that point your health will actual -ump to 3.'' R it -ust makes hunting
easier. hile on the hit list to health up at any time -ust press 4T0C *9%2T and
9 that is the short cut instead of leaving the hit list and going to the hospital. ish

1s mentioned above the only reason you need money in the bank is so you can
afford to health up every other dime should be spent on property. %f you feel you
need to bank money make sure you select a bank with no more than a &( take
otherwise you are pretty much throwing good fake money away. The only time
we are a proponent of banking is when you know you are going to be offline or
not active for some time.
33. 0andom 1ttacks
e are totally against them they donSt pay enough for the potential trouble they
can bring upon you and your turf. <ow that said there are two e)ceptions to this
rule. 2irst if you need a few e)perience points to level than find a person on the
random attack list that is weak and not a member of a turf, second are what we in
fumafia call cash cows, this are players that put bluntly should not be playing this
game and are a free for all. Your turf will help you with these
3&. +turf
+turf is a racket owned by another turf that changes on a regular basis. %t requires
you to cancel your turf membership and request to -oin the turf that owns it and
there is no guarantee you will be admitted. The benefit of eturf is your ma)
energy is doubled while there and your energy is refreshed twice as quick. %n
addition if you bling yourself an eboost then by all means do it in eturf. +turf can
be a dangerous place, if you -oin until you are known within the fumafia crowd
keep your mouth shut and -ust go about your bounty hunting. ,ne screw up in
eturf can result in you being dead a long time and bringing a war to your turf
