@ Oracle binary relink is fine even in the installs. The warnings are from
@ orion tool, wrap and few other tools.
@ .
@ Investigating..
*** SMATPADI 06/24/11 04:27 pm ***
@ Following are the findings :
@ .
@ GIB3 has two bundles ("12419353" for SIHA/CRS) and ("12419331" for
@ CRS/RAC/SIDB/SIHA).
@ .
@ The issue (warnings) are seen in the relink of the oracle binary in the DB
@ Home when applying bundle 12419331. Oracle relink in CRSHOME goes thro'
with
@ much lesser warnings.
@ .
@ You might want to check with the DB Team to find out the reason. Most
likely
@ some of the libraries are not patched up in the DB Home.
@ .
@ running 'ioracle' target produces the error in the DB Home.

@ The relink Oracle on AIX machines generally generated lots of missing
symbol
@ warnings all the time. This has nothing to do with the patch.
@ .
@ To confirm this we can run the following command in the non patched oracle
@ home
@ .
@ cd $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/lib
@ make -f ins_rdbms.mk ioracle
@ .
@ If you see the same set of warnings then this bug can be closed as NOT A
BUG.
@ If there are new Undefined symbols then it may need firther investigation.
*** SMATPADI 06/25/11 12:07 am ***
@ Relink of oracle in the label (which the shiphome depends on) does not

@ The problem is while generating export file.
@ .
@ We have used "-C" with "nm" command and then looked for "::" to skip C++
@ symbols.
@ .
@ .
@ An option "-C" with "nm" command has different meanings on AIX & Linux.
@ .
@ Linux:
@ -C
@ --demangle[=style]
@ Decode (demangle) low-level symbol names into user-level names.
@ .
@ AIX:
@ -C
@ Suppresses the demangling of C++ names.
