Aim and Objective

This qualification focuses on international standards and
management systems, enabling candidates to effectively
discharge workplace health and safety responsibilities in any
employment sector, in all parts of the world

Target Candidates

NEBOSH IGC designed to help those are with fire, health and
safety responsibilities, for example, Managers, Engineers, Site
Supervisors, Safety officers, Auditors, Trainers, Assessors And
employee representatives, to carry out their duties at workplace
more effectively to identify, prevent and manage the critical
risks found and to protect the organizations for which they work.


Entry Requirements

The NEBOSH Certificate has no formal entry requirements but
examinations are held in English so a good standard of written
English is required.

Course Structure

Assessment is by an end-of-course examination comprising two
written papers - IGC1 (The management of International safety
and health) and IGC2 (Controlling workplace hazards) - and a
practical assessment (IGC3) which consists of carrying out a
health and safety inspection of a workplace and preparing a
management report.

Examination Style
The examination comprises two 2-hour written papers and a
practical assessment. Each written paper consists of one 'long-
answer' question and ten 'short-answer' questions. All questions
are compulsory. The practical assessment consists of carrying
out a risk assessment of a workplace and preparing a short
report.

The Managing Safely course is for those required t effectively in compliance with both- their organization tike in
health and safety.



The course aims to ensure that safety requirements are appreciated by
people employed as line managers, and to enable them to review their own
de-part mental systems for safety, introducing new controls or implementing
changes as appropriate to ensure safety in the workplace.

CONDITIONS OF REGISTRATION


1. The registration forms for the various courses will be issued against payment of the
requisite registration fee.

2. The candidate is required to pay the entire course fee at the time of admission.

3. The company will not under any circumstances refund the registration fee, if the candidate is
withdrawing from a confirmed seat.

4. The company issues receipts for all payments made by the candidate inclusive of taxes.

5. The company reserves the right to change the venue of the course and the candidate would
be informed of the same in advance.

6. The company has the right to cancel a course that has been scheduled because of insufficient
enrollments or causes beyond its control. The candidate will be intimated the same and will be
eligible for a complete refund of the fees paid, or can shift to the next available batch.

7. Telephonic registrations will be valid only after the required registration fee has been paid,
after which a registration number will be provided by the office.

8. On successful completion of the course the Certificates will be dispatched by registered post to
the address provided by the candidate. The certificates have to be collected within 90 days from
the date of intimation by the office. The company will not be responsible for holding the
certificates hereafter.
