Course Duration
The course is delivered over 5 days (consecutive days or can be
flexible)
Course delivered in workplace or open courses held at EMS
The exam is within a month of the course
Self Study between 20 and 30 hours
Practical exam must be completed within 14 days of the written
exam
Examination
Unit NEC1 is assessed by a two-hour written
exam.
Unit NEC2 is assessed by a workplace-based
practical assessment (an environmental review
