Cornerstone of the Northeast Montana Fair

It may not gather the crowds of the PRCA Rodeo or the Demolition
Derby, but the 4-H/FFA Livestock Show & Sale will always be the
essence of the Northeast Montana Fair. These young ag producers
work hard to bring a quality product to the table, and businesses as well
as individuals see to it that they get rewarded for their efforts. Pictured
above is Bethany Lacock who raised the Medium Weight Grand
Champion. She topped the chart as far as price per pound went for
market beef as Farm Equipment Sales paid $5.00 per pound. Have you
ever seen a $100 fryer? At right is Kobe Sibley and his grand champion
poultry project. Total livestock tally on Tuesday was $142,615.35. More
results of the 4-H/FFA Livestock Sale are inside todays Buzz.

season is over, that dont mean the pool is closed!
Plenty of relief from the heat is left as the last day of
open swimming is August 23rd and last day of open lap
swimming is August 29th. Open swimming is from 1:00
to 2:45 and 3:00 to 4:45. Night Swimming is on Tuesdays
