During this tenure I was exposed to various quality control affairs, various regulations, GMP, GLP etc.

Research Summery:
The pyrimidines and their derivatives have attracted increasing interest in the realms of natural and

synthetic organic chemistry because of their diverse therapeutic and pharmacological properties. These

non planer heterocyclic compounds have emerged as the integral backbones of calcium channel

modulators. Among tetrahydropyrimidines with other types of bioactivity, The biological as well as

medicinal importance of 1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrimidine prompted us for further modification in the

heterocyclic frame work for synthesis of new tetrahydropyrimidine. While doing literature survey we

have observed that not a single paper is published on the anticancer screening of title compounds. And

therefore it is worth to undertake the synthesis and anticancer screening of 1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrimidine.

Recently new imidazoline derivatives were reported for their anti-inflammatory, herbicidal and

hypertensive activities. The medicinal utilities of compounds described in this section inspired us to

synthesize some new imidazolones. It is our ongoing project to synthesize new bioactive molecules; we

have modified the 3rd position of imidazoline derivatives for potential and bioactive heterocyclic

compounds. 5-imidazolone as having anti cancer activity the therapeutic importance of the compounds

inspired us to synthesize some potential imidazolones.

. The medicinal utilities of compounds synthesize some new s-triazine.In view of these observations we

have synthesized s-triazine, by the condensation of cyanuric chloride with different aromatic amines at

different temperature in acetone.
