Sigils
First I would like to start this thread off by explaining exactly what a Sigil is.
A sigil is a sort of energy magnet that could be likened to and orgone accumulator in
that a sigil draws energy from all sorts of sources. I prefer the planetary and angelic
sources however one could use the demonic sources also (I will not be giving the
demonic information out as it is dangerous and is considered taboo for a reason.)
Here is an example of the most well known sigil made widely famous by the
alchemist/occultist Dr. John Dee and his partner Edward Kelly; the Sigillum Dei meth

A sigil (/sdl/; pl. sigilia or sigils; from Latin sigillum "seal") is a symbol used
in magic. The term has usually referred to a type of pictorial signature of an
angel, demon or other entity; In ritual magic it refers to a symbolic
representation of the magician's desired outcome.

Now Understand, Not all sigils are anywhere near this complex but the more powerful
you want them the more complex they should be; also they need to be energetically
balanced sort of like balancing your chakras but with a more male/physical/logical way,
to use the physical to attract the etherial, these are the cheapest and easiest orgone
accumulators you could ever make because all it requites is a little paper, ink, time and
direct intent from the magickian.
Now in regards of forming these sigils the magickian Must draw these in the manor of
ritualistic magick therefore drawing in the energies of the planetary influences.

Banishing
The Pentagram represents Life/Quintessence/Chi/Spirit. Use If you wish to Make a
general energy, spirit or emotion attracted to or banish from the area the sigil will be
located.
Hexagrams are used for balancing energies; if you have a chakra imbalance or simply
an energy imbalance in your life or a relationship or and environment such as home,
school or work uses the hexagrams for balancing these imbalances.
Heptagrams are used to create change in an individuals life or environmental energy;
usually used in tandem with a pentagram and/or hexagram as to influence a change in
accordance to the energies presented by the pentagram and/or hexagram.
Now that we have the basics we can get into constructing these sigils. For an example
of a simple sigil I constructed a Sigil of Spiritual protection:
Draw the star that you wish to use

Now add the boundaries
If you want to protect yourself from physical harm draw a square around the circle
Now add the planetary influences in accordance to what you wish to attract or banish
(in my case banishing harmful spirits and attracting a spiritual protection)

Now you can further elaborate by using a magickal language to enhance the energetic
influences, I use Hebrew as it is the most potent of magickal languages that I have
found (most would day that it would be Enochian but i have found that it is not as
straight forward as it may seem and can sometimes backfire if it is not PERFECTLY
used)

Now to Use a method called the Rosy Cross of the Rosicrucians; here are the images
that you will need for references
The Rosy Cross is traditionally in hebrew however it can be used in any language

Thanks LGO! I've given some attention to this area in my studies and meditations.
It is very powerful. It's possible that alchemy itself could be sigil magic for some...
there are certainly authors who thought so. Sigil also means "seal" and Fulcanelli
mentions
the connection between salt/sel and seal... and many references as epiphany cakes,
etc.
Even the Seal of Hermes, often taken to mean hermetically sealed, could be literally
a spiritual/energetic seal rather than a well closed vessel (or both).
Anyway, I'm glad you bring this to attention.

Me too, I learned quite a bit from it.
But I'm curious about the Rosy Cross. Is the one with the english alphabet laid out at
random around the center?

Nope its not random it is a direct translation from the hebrew language
some...
