Abstract:
Wealth is not the primary determinant of a countries development index rather education is seen as a
primary index of a developed emerging knowledge economy. For this reason pursuance of professional
education is given utmost importance by the government, youth as well as their parents. The imparted
professional education being taught in the educational institutions is limited only to the theoretical
framework as prescribed by the academic communities or bodies. The prescribed academic topics more
often skim upon the underlying concept rather than explain in detail utilizing the help extended by
Information Technology and ommunication Tools thus delineating the in!uiring mind to find the right
clarity as far as the topic is concerned. To find the right information the convergence of Information
Technology and communication tools as a right mix are to be used for teaching as well as its
importance to the student community needs to be looked into. The convergence of teaching with
information technologies are way apart and this can be easily felt when the prospective candidate
applies for a "ob. In order to cope up with the situation the prospective candidate has to learn the
intricate technologies separately in order to pursue his career which poses a ma"or challenge in terms of
money and time.
The present paper throws light on the lacunae in convergence of Information Technology and
ommunication Tools as teaching methodologies for imparting professional education and presents
some feasible solutions that can be a viable solution for imparting professional education in educational
institutions so that the prospective student while exiting the educational institution is professionally
ready to take up the "ob which now#a#days is purely Information Technology dependent.
