While this was the case %$ doctrine remained ure' their #aith
was ali(e and %$ #irst disciles were a&le to *ee educating
aostles and sending them out into the world with the tas* o#
roclaiming the Gosel o# lo(e. ,nd every messenger was
under My direct influence, he only ever passed on what
the voice of the spirit within him told him, what he had to
say because he was filled with the spirit of God.
-he dilution o# %$ teaching did not suddenly ta*e lace either'
one thing #ollowed another as someone or other was unsuited #or
a ministr$ &ut aointed himsel# to #ill it or was elected &$ those
who were also sirituall$ unawa*ened. "n due course' the initiall$
small communities grew into larger organi/ations which' in turn'
were answera&le to someone more ower#ul who ele(ated
himsel# to this osition &ecause he ossessed *nowledge which
other &rothers lac*ed' &ut which could not &e called siritual
*nowledge.
-hus a structure &egan to aear which' in the &eginning' was
still managed &$ good eole &ut which too* on e(er worldlier
#orms' who certainl$ saw their tas* in sreading the Gosel &ut
simultaneousl$ also ursued earthl$ o&0ecti(es' #or the$ no
longer ossessed the characteristic o# %$ church .... inner
enlightenment through the spirit .... so that the$ e(entuall$
onl$ o&ser(ed the dead letter &ut were no longer a&le to
demonstrate a li(ing #aith.
The church which I Myself founded on earth has not
changed, even today it is still made up of those who
believe in Me with a living faith and in whom My spirit can
be active .... whom " can there#ore guide in their thoughts so
that their thin*ing is alwa$s right and the$ ha(e a li(ing &ond
with %e.
-his church has weathered all times' it sur(i(ed in the midst o#
large organi/ations &ecause its mem&ers were #rom all
con#essions and the$ were ali(e in their thoughts' determination
and actions. -here#ore' no time can &e seci#ied as to how long it
remained ure .... For time and again " sa$ to $ou that " onl$
consider those people to &e mem&ers o# %$ church who *now
themsel(es to &e close to %e' who li(e in constant union with %e'
who &elie(e in %e and with whom " can there#ore sea* through
the sirit ....
,nd e(er$where' in all denominations' there ha(e &een eole
who were (er$ close to %e' " was a&le to re(eal %$sel# #ar and
wide and guide them into ro#ound *nowledge .... 1et whether
the$ were ac*nowledged as true (essels #or di(ine re(elations
deended uon the siritual state o# those who considered
themsel(es leaders and who were alread$ considera&l$ distant
#rom the truth.

nations' the Gosel o# lo(e' &ecause onl$ through lo(e can

%$ sirit will &e a&le to &e acti(e within them' which is the surest
sign o# it.
But onl$ they will ac)uire the *ingdom o# hea(en' onl$ to them
can " con(e$ the truth and re(eal %$ lan o# eternit$ .... For #ar
more imortant things are at sta*e than 0ust the o&ser(ance o#
church traditions and er#ormances which are o# no (alue
whatsoe(er #or the rogress o# the human soul ....
