Chapter 2

According to development of Al Hadeya Alkhalifias Grading System (1919) education in Bahrain was
limited to the teaching the children of rich people and the owners of the important centers in the country and
then become the public from the people. Unfortunately, the school uses a manual grading system in which they
are using papers, files, cards and calculators to calculate the marks of each student. Therefore the management
decided to developed a Computerized Grading System to avoid a very difficult and long time processes of
calculating the grade of each student, and the cost that spends every for papers files and other this and avoid risk
in losing or damaging the document.

In this article, it proves that using Computerized System benefits and helps the schools instead of using
manual because it saves cost, manpower and time to be consumed. In the same way, our Accumulated Manual
System makes use of this matter in terms of using computerized grades to be used for viewing online instead of
printing it out. Therefore this saves cost from papers files and electricity.

According to the article of National University ROTCs Grading System, it states that using the process of
computerization all transactions inside and outside the business world can be done in easy way. The same way
goes when the method is integrated with education. Because demands for human resources increased the
proponents goal is to make the task easier including transactions, heavy paper work, arranging and sorting. Also,
to reduce the time to be consumes.

In this article, it proves that with the use of process of computerization, it could help the school to ease the
processing of all transaction that includes heavy paper work, arranging, sorting and to reduce the time to be
consumes. In addition, instead of using manual grading system for calculating grades for ROTC the proponent
applied the Computerized Grading System to ease the grading process. Therefore, our Accumulated Grading
System will be flexible in terms of usage.

According to development of Computerized Grading System for San Sebastian College Recoletos
Canlubang (2011) states that 4 years ago many things in their school have gone from manual to automate, and
the proponents notice that Grading System doesnt exist in that school. Lack of centralized grading system is the
reason why it is difficult for the professor to perform the task in computing and calculating the grades of the
students. It doesnt have a standalone program that will accept input, compute grades and print class cards all in a
same program.

In this article, it show how important to schools management to provide their own Computerized Grading
System instead of using a manual grading system. Therefore, it helps a lot ones we finished our Accumulated
Grading System for own respective beneficiary.

Informatics Computer Institute of Valenzuelas thesis (2013) proposal, Computerized Grading System
of AMA under AMA ORACLE PEOPLESOFT CAMPUS SOLUTIONS (AMA ORACLE0PSCS) this states that an
Assistant Instructor at AMA named Russell de Villa works as a eLearning Coordinator for the Batangas Branch
proven that most instructor teaches Online Subjects and that made him more familiar with the usage of online
databases such as MOODLE and ORACLE PSCS. Therefore, with the use of Computer Grading System it makes the
computing of grades easier and less time consuming for the professors. It is reliable, accurate and more efficient
to use than manual grading.

In this article, using the Computerized Grading System it provide solutions for different task. It could
lessen the time for processing the job of the professor that includes encoding of grades into the database, as well
as to encode their schedule, check class listings and schedules, and overall, its kind of like an online record book
for any instructor working under AMA Computer Colleges. Therefore, if the proponent pursue to developed the
proposed system for Informatics College Caloocan it can give a great impact for the management, professor and
for the students.

According to development of the Holy Spirit Christian Learning Centre Grading System for Data Accuracy,
during the usage manual computation of grades also known as a traditional way. Manual computation is very
prompt to risk for any circumstances. It is time consuming in terms of recording grades, computation using of
calculator. If some records are lost, they never retrieve it in case of unexpected calamity. Accuracy and security is
not been so defined because of above risks.

In this article, it states that manual computation is risky in terms of computation of all grades of the
students and storing of students records. So if the management of Informatics College uses the Computerized
Grading System records of the student will not be a risk in terms loss.
