1. General Information:
PACWIN.NET 2010 presents itself in a new, user
friendly design and follows PACWIN version 2009
in November 2009. The program includes new
functions and calculations beside well known
functionalities such as axle load and stability
calculation.

Complete project administration including history, comments and file
attachments
Project import and export for exchange between different users
Project export to frame calculation program PAF
Export of generated drawings into preferred CAD format (drawing formats
vdi, dxf, dwg)
PALSHOW.NET and CAD processing program PALVIEW.NET is included
Contact database with customers, installers and persons in charge
Large truck database with cabins, measurements, weights and accessories
Crane database with selection of equipment and detailed illustration
Database of additional stabilizers including measurements and weights
Definition and view of bodywork, tipper, underdrive protection and sub frame
Selection of free weights with relevance to axle load and/or stability
Program options for personal settings of different program functionalities
Individual design of print layout including import of external CAD drawings
and pictures
Program documentation as help file in PDF format
Individual language selection possible (currently German, English)
Equipment database can be updated via PATIS-Online easily (PALSOFT-
Updates)
Upgradeable with additional modules in future (hook loader, trailer, ...)

4. Modular design:
The modular system of PACWIN.NET allows flexible licensing. The user can choose
between available modules and saves license costs in this way. A flexible development of
the program is guaranteed too.
Currently the software does not support the calculation of hook loaders. Additional
modules like hook loaders (PALIFT) and the US measurement are under construction
already. Other modules are in planning phase (trailer, curve drive,).
