Jamlock Bale Ties
Historically used for baling cotton, wool and
manmade fibres our High tensile Jamlock ties have
become widely used to bale any type of recycled or
waste product with a high memory. Available in a
range of sizes to suit many types of press.

wires are ideal for manual forming or CNC multi
axis wire bending machines.

Low Carbon Steel Flat and Shaped Wires
KTS produces Low Carbon (Mild) Steel Flat Wires with a Round Edge or Square Edge as
required by the Customer.

Hardness:
To our customers specification.

These products are usually supplied in Coils with
Weights ranging from 50kgs to 1,000kgs maximum.
The material can also be supplied in Cut lengths with Bundle Weights
up to 500kgs

Application:
Our Technical Laboratory is fully equipped to allow us to completely evaluate the physical
and metallurgical properties of all products. A full Chemical Steel Analysis is available to us
from a fully certified analytical laboratory.
The KTS Sales/Technical team are willing to discuss the customers specific requirements to
advise the customer how the product can be developed to suit their specific application.
Typical applications include: Espagnolettes for Window locking mechanisms, Cooker Pan
Supports, Gimbal Wires, Can Openers, Cooking Utensils, Tilt Rods

High Carbon Steel Flat and Square Sections
KTS produces Carbon Steel Flat Wires with a Round Edge or Square Edge as required by the
Customer in steels with up to 0.85% Carbon content.

Hardness :
Product will be supplied to either a Hardness or Tensile Strength Value in accordance with our
customers specification or requirements appropriate to the steel analysis required.

Standard classifications are
Annealed & Pinch Passed
Inter Annealed to customers tensile
Hard Rolled

These products are usually supplied in Coils with Weights ranging from 50kgs to 1,000kgs maximum.
The material can also be supplied in Cut lengths with Bundle Weights up to 500kgs

content with an Oil Hardened and Tempered structure referred to as Tempered Martensite. This fine uniform structure provides
the material with enhanced performance properties due to its uniformity and high resilience
