To Do Justice
By Rev. Reginald Williams Micah 6:8

Actions speak louder than words. I’d rather see a sermon than hear one any day. These
phrases speak to the fact that one’s actions really display the character of an individual. In other
words, you can tell a lot about a person by what they do.
Moreover, you can tell a lot about a person’s or an entity’s priorities by how they spend
their money. With that premise in our midst, let us turn to the national budget, and the proposed
terminations and reductions put forth by the Resident of the White House. Consider the following
facts.

Proposed terminations include: Proposed cuts include:

Education - $3,468,000,000.00 Education - $800,000,000.00
Health & Human Services - $866,000,000.00 Health & Human Services - $199,000,000.00
Justice - $1,116,000,000.00 Labor - $583,000,000.00
Labor - $180,000,000 Total Proposed Cuts - $1,582,000,000.00
Total Proposed Terminations
$5,630,000,000.00

The proposed terminations display the disdain of the Resident and his partners for the
least of these. The policies of the Resident are not only focused on killing education, human serv-
ices, justice and jobs, but also people. While cuts are being made to funds that help people, bil-
lions and billions more are being sent to kill people and steal oil from other people. Meanwhile,
residents of New Orleans and the Gulf Coast still are without FEMA trailers and shelter. Some are
still living miles from home in shelters and makeshift living situations.
When will we wake up and demand that this Resident be impeached? Bush makes it clear
that his priorities are on his pocket, and not the welfare of all people. Demand IMPEACHMENT
NOW!!!!
