After several months of negotiation the NT government agreed late last week to bring Adelaide
United to Darwin.

This is the first A - league visit in 5 years and it will be the first time that an A - league club has played
an FFNT NorZone representative team.

To mark this momentous occasion, FFNT has appointed the reigning 2013 Premiership coach, John
Tsaknis (Hellenic AFC), to the position of 2014 NorZone AllStars Head Coach.

John has selected Alex Bourbaris to be his Team Manager and he also invited Daymon Port from
FFNT to provide technical assistance for this match. Daymon is currently the only FFA A licensed
coach within the NT and is looking forward to the challenge of working alongside John with the 2014
NorZone AllStars team.

A selection panel was convened last Saturday evening by John and FFNT Technical Department staff,
who have been watching the majority of the NorZone Mens Premier League matches throughout the
season. From a potential squad of forty (40) identified 2014 NorZone Premier League players the
panel narrowed the list down to a provisional squad of nineteen (19) players.

The objective of the selection panel was to select a competitive squad that could best represent the
eight (8) NorZone Premier League clubs. The selection panel also sought to provide an opportunity
for the brightest young players competing within the 2014 NorZone Premier League to participate in
this landmark event, whilst maintaining a competitive balance between youth and experience.

In addition to the nineteen NorZone Premier League players selected into the 2014 NorZone AllStars squad,
John Tambouras has been appointed to the squad as the twentieth player. John is a Darwin local who pursued
a successful professional football career in Australia, Greece, New Zealand, Malaysia, Ireland, Azerbaijan and
China over a twelve year period. This match will officially draw the curtain on Johns playing career and provide
Darwin football with the opportunity to give him the send off that he deserves in front of his home crowd. For
