STAGES YOU NEED TO GO THROUGH INORDER TO GET YOUR DREAM JOB ::

1. Online/Offline exam
A) Aptitude( improve your Vocabulary , analytical ability ) +
B) Languages ( C (must), DATA STRUCTURES, C++) , Technical related to subject

2. TECHNICAL ROUND
A) Related to subjects or basic practical knowledge of the field company works in
B) May ask you regarding Projects ( It works if even you havent done a project but you
should have an idea , what you will be doing as final year project ) and Training ( Must be
able to tell what you learned during this period )
C) Many a times companies ask you for the practical applications , so do read about practical
applications of the subject .
D) About your leadership experience and team work . For eg if you have done a project ,than
they might be interested in knowing whatwas your role and how you were able to prove
yourself a key team player.

E) Puzzles
Make sure you go through your resume once before appearing for interview and should
know each and every thing about the stuff you have mentioned ( if not in detail at least the basics)
No matter how much you know, if you are not good at explaining what you know you lessen chances
of getting through your dream company . Also make sure , you speak up in English for it is onething
preferred by all MNCs . But that really doesnt mean you should fumble while explaining just
because u are not good at English .

Clarity in thoughts , good verbal skills and confidence is the first and foremost thing a company
look for.
3. GROUP DISCUSSION (GD)
a) Dont be shy , inculcate the habit to speak up, you can even repeat what your friend has
said in a different manner

4. HR round ( Personal interview)
WHAT ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW?
1. STRENGTHS ( if you still dnt know about it, try finding out..if not ur own ..pick up
someone else :p . Also, if you have a strength , you should be able to tell them how you
have been able to achieve in life using that strenth)
They sometimes ask you for the biggest achievement of your life . So should prepare an answer for
this well in advance .
2. WEAKNESS ( you must know it, and always back it by saying am trying to overcome my
weakness by doing so and so. Never tell weakness like inability to work for long hours ,
short temper etc. )
3. Your Hobbies
4. About yourself ( introduction is mustdo learn how to introduce yourself..practice it
daily)
5. Where do you see yourself after 5 yrs down the line ?
6. What are your future plans ?

(Make sure you dont tell them about plans for MBA or Higher studies . They want
someone who will continue working with them for a couple of years . Even if you have ,
you shouldnt reveal it and if they prompt you to answer that , you can say I need to get
some work experience and than according to needs of industry I will plan for higher
studies. Just try to convince them that you are there to work for them for at least a
couple of years).
7. Why you dont have a good CGPA ? Why our company , why not other ? If some company
gives u a higher package later on with same profile , will you leave our company ?
(Be realistic , dont just try to be sugar coated every time, give valid reasons for everything )
8. At the End you should make a query from your end . That leaves a positive impression and
It tells the interviewer that you are interested in the company and willing to work for them .
9. What are your expectations from the company ?
( You can ask them what will be your work as new trainee , what will be the training duration , what
all projects the company is handling at present , will the new trainess be allowed to work on new
technologies , what is the promotion criteria , career graph working for the company and things like
that)
Note : Refrain from asking for in hand salary, how many hours will u be made to work , if there is
any bond or not . Such questions might become a reason for your rejection . At the end you just
need to impress them and assure them that you have a keen interest for the company)
