Justin Trudeau has put out new ads to ethnic media to mislead Canadians about his prodrug legalization policies. The ad is false and dishonest. This ad is in direct response to
the outrage expressed by immigrant communities and parents across Canada who have
been clear that they do not support Justin Trudeaus plan to legalize marijuana. The truth
about Justin Trudeau is that he will make marijuana legal in Canada. Justin Trudeaus plan
will make it easier for kids to access drugs and will send a message to young people that
taking drugs is not a problem, making the difficult job of parents even harder. Only the
Conservative Government is committed to keeping illegal drugs out of the hands of kids
and off the streets."

Mr. Speaker, the Liberal leader theorizes that the only way to keep marijuana out

Chrtien has always said he's never smoked pot, but

on Friday he said he might consider it. "I never
tried it. I said I might be able someday to do it," he
said.
Chrtien was more specific in an interview with a

will no longer be criminal," he said. "I will have my
money for my fine and a joint in the other hand."
Chrtien was referring to proposed legislation that
would decriminalize marijuana. People caught with
30 grams or less would be subject to a fine, not a

The harsh sentences now provided under the

The effect on our economy of legalized sales of
marijuana could be a healthy one. Organized crime
flourished in the days of alcohol prohibition; prices
were artificially inflated; there was no regulation of
age requirements; and the government lost tax
revenues. The same situation applies today with
regard to marijuana prohibition.
