Goal 1: Career Management for Success students will work for
the next 12 weeks to learn the importance of displaying an
exceptional attitude that will help them achieve academic
success by carrying out and implementing for a change and
victim impact which is used in every correctional facility. (Pre
and Post test)







Goal 2: Career Management for Success students will
implement a professional appearance and attitude which will
be used during mandatory role-playing for each student. All
content is created in a real world setting allowing each student
to learn how to create resumes, complete and submit job
applications, work in teams, and use effective communication.








Goal 3: Career Management for Success students will be able
to demonstrate the effectiveness of the course by knowing
how to use time management, interview techniques and
complete resumes.

Career Management is a core course for career clusters. The course provides
students with tools for achieving success in their academic, work, and
personal lives. Course content emphasizes the basic skills and knowledge
needed for employment success, as identified by industry and supported by
relevant national standards. All course content is present in a real world
context, providing concrete opportunities for developing personal and
career goals, effective communication skills, teamwork abilities and
successful work attitudes. Upon completion of the course, students will be
able to complete other career and technical organizations.

The students will achieve employment success and job readiness by
demonstrating communication skills, teamwork abilities and successful
work attitudes. When this goal is achieved and the students get the job
desired they will have a great outlook on life. They will believe in
themselves and use these skills they learned for a lifetime.






2. How will achieving the goal(s) impact your students?
As an inmate, accomplishing goals will be huge for that
individual. The self-esteem level will rise and they will feel
like a more productive member of society. That is one of
the main things that is taught in the class. When you set a
goal, reach it and keep prevailing.
