Certificate in
Project Management
In today’s competitive business climate, you are judged by the results of
your last project. In this program, you learn the hard skills of scope, cost, time, risk, and
resource management, as well as skills of team building and conflict resolution. To earn
the Certificate, complete nine days of workshops. We recommend you begin with either
Successful Project Management or IT Project Management. Go to nbdc.unomaha.edu/project for more information. Even
if you are not interested in completing the Certificate program, individual workshops may be taken to increase your project
management skills.

Much of the curriculum is PMBOK-aligned (Project Management Body of Knowledge). Many NBDC workshops can be
applied towards the 35 educational contact hour requirement to take the PMP exam. NBDC workshops may also qualify
towards Professional Development Units (PDUs). NOTE: The documentation required upon PMI audit/request may include
registration form, certificate or letter of attendance, and a brochure or course materials outlining the subject matter covered
and the qualifications of the instructor/lecturer.
