Provided various development and administrative duties for SQL Server / Tandem including:
Provide database consulting services to development staff. Including: SQL query tuning, data modeling, SQL
performance monitoring and reporting
Create SSIS packages to extract, translate and load data from disparate systems into SQL Server database
for reporting purposes
Currently mentoring with Dell SQL Server Architect to create a corporate wide performance strategy and
process for the migration of code to production (SQL, T-SQL)

Performed several Proof-of-Concept scenarios using C#, ODBC and ADO.NET
Key Accomplishments:
Responsible for the Proof-of-Concept coding effort that led to a savings of $60 million dollars in lost revenue
for the Dell SnP (software and peripherals) group. Reviewed existing code (C#) to determine the cause of
bound order transactions, and wrote a white paper describing the PoC findings and benchmark analysis
Design, develop, and deploy a SQL Server reporting solution to publish TCO of applications running on
Tandem (HP) NonStop servers based upon CPU utilization
Design and implement summary reports using SSRS. Retrieved data from Tandem RDBMS using SSIS to
extract, translate, and load SQL Server tables

I provided database design for highly complex call processing applications. Led physical design sessions,
provided performance prototyping, SQL and explain plan review for all in-house developed applications for
