Cellphones
How far the cellphones have gone? In the 80s, cellphones started to become
popular little by little in the society until they transformed in something common in our
daily life. In those years no one imagined the huge impact that the cellphones would
have in the future generations neither the revolution that they would bring. Since
cellphones started to be used, they have helped the society in different forms.
Cellphones have proved their utility when an emergency occurs. In case of an
accident people who have a cellphone can call to emergency services. In addition, with
cellphones people in one accident can contact their parents and tell them what
happened, their health status, and location. There have been cases in which doctors
have given instructions through cellphones in order to save the life of someone who is in
danger. With only one call people can inform their health status and location, thus the
chaos and the angst, which are very common, can be omitted.
The different apps that people can add to their cellphones can be applied to help
them. For example there are apps that allow users to bank through their cellphones
such as Banamex, Bancomer, and Santander. Other examples are the apps that have
been specialized in the education. The applications can teach small kids simple things
like how to read such as ScootPad. Moreover, with the apps for social networks like
Facebook and Twitter it is possible to localize lost persons due to the big amount of
users that are connected every day. Finally, in stressful moments we can relax by
listening to music with one app like android music player or b tunes music player or
playing one game with an app like happy jump or vector .
The growing demand of cellphones has activated the economy in the industrial
sector. The lack of qualified persons in that area has generated millions of direct and
indirect employments around the world. Moreover, the distribution of this product covers
a global market, so the earnings are multimillionaires. Each year consumers wait in long
lines in order to get the new cellphone that will keep or increase they social status. The
big cellphone companies like Apple, Samsung, and Motorola have brought employment
to millions of people and in the future there will be even more.
In conclusion, people in any part of the world can communicate through the
cellphones. The cellphones break frontiers as they keep us communicated regardless
the distance between the people who want to talk. No other human invention has gone
so far in the society like cellphones. For these reasons and more, cellphones have been
integrated to the society like something essential and necessary to any person in any
social class.
