possible thru the concerted effort of the group like Senior Resident Dr. Francisco San Pedro and Miss Violeta Giron. Dr. Yuchongco's term ended on December 27,1992 when he was promoted as Hospital Director is B. Lingad Memorial Regional Hospital. On April 1, 1993 Dr. Agapito Pascual assumed the position of Chief of Hospital, then February 3, L997 Dr. Wilfredo S. De Vera assumed the position of Chief of Hospital. Until his demise in 2004. Since then several improvements were done. These comprise the renovations of buildings and fagade, landscaping of the hospital grounds and upgrading of facilities and equipments. Surgical operations had increased dramatically, because of the presence of surgeons and medical specialists. Other programs such as Hypertensive/Diabetic prevention, Bloodletting Garantisadong Pambata and coordination with local officials contributed to the winning of hospital as one of the Sentrong Sigla Hospitals in Bulacan. On January L, ZOO2, Sapang Palay District Hospital was turned over to the City Government of San Jose Del Monte, and on January L4, of same year the Sangguniang Panglungsod approved the charge of its name to Ospital ng Lungsod ng San Jose Del Monte. Under the City of San Jose Del Monte there are many change; additional personnel, additional funds and equipments under the Ieadership of City Health Officer Dr. Betzaida B. Banaag with our Chief of Hospital, Dr. Wilfredo S. De Vera, and our Administrative Officer V, Mrs. Priscilla A. Centeno, M.B.A. on July 1, 2005, Dr. Evelyn V. Policarpio assumed the position of Chief of Hospital and additional improvements in service were done with the bed capacity increased from 50 bed to 90 bed capacity. From June 19, 2007 she was designated as Assistant to the City Health Officer, then Dr. Warren Liong Cheng was assigned as OIC-Chief of Hospital from June 20 to Aug. 14,2AA7. From August 15 2007 up to August 4,2AO9 Dr. Gregorio Conner assumed the responsibility as OIC-Chief of Hospital. From August 5, 2009 up to present Dr. Evelyn Policarpio was re-assigned as Chief of Hospital and the new hospital building got erected and is working on the transfer of other services she wards to a 4 story building to accommodate a 3.50 bed capacity institution. Programs and Services: The programs and services of the hospital are out patient and in patient care for adults and children, obstetrics and gynecology, minor and major surgery dental, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, ultrasound, ECG, family planning and newborn screening. We also have physicaltherapy and medical social services. We have occasional grand medical surgical and dental mission from NGOs locally and abroad. We have visiting consultants on dermatology orthopedics, pathology and radiology to back up a team of medical officers and medical specialist in different department.
