Manual HP Lance 360 Spray Application

Using a High Pressure (HP) Lance system, designed in-house, it was

possible to achieve a full 360 spray atomisation of the
Hydrocarbon Decontamination chemical HyDeX to improve its
dispersal, while increasing the chemicals linger time.

reducuon of conLamlnanL levels. A LoLal
of 6 drums (6 x 200 llLre) was used over
a perlod of 20 hours before Lhe cllenL
sLopped Lhe process (budgeLary
llmlLauons) and Lhe vessel was force
venulaLed by Lhelr own Leams.
A LoLal reducuon ln 8enzene levels from
900ppm Lo 8.7ppm was easlly achleved,
whl l e Ammonl a l evel s were al so
r ec or ded bel ng r educ ed f r om
3,000+ppm Lo 87ppm (as a resulL of Lhe
vessel belng deconLamlnaLed and Lhe
Loxln source belng vacuumed ouL).
